Bryce Brown anything to see here? (1 Viewer)

In the same predicament with Foster as a GTD. I honestly think people are overlooking the Miami defense at home. I have a feeling Buffalo will have issues sustaining drives tonight. Not sure I can trust him in my lineup.

Brown will likely split carries with Dixon but receptions is where Brown is likely to do some damage tonight. He'll likely get 5-6 targets and with that a decent chance to bust one for 20+ yards. I'll take that as a waiver wire RB3/Flex play.

Yeah i agree with you, miami just dunkT the chargers then barely lost to the lions on the road coming off of a bye, miami should handle this easy, cant see either running game doing well here and could end up being a lot of pass attempts with 3 and outs in a low scoring game. Bryce has upside since he can run routes and is a great pass catcher so thats a big reason people are debating on playing him. Someone playing brown over wallace though is a stretch, outside of starting both defenses wallace is only player that seems like a sure thing, every week he is inches from grabbing a long td for the big breakout game and it could very well be tonight.

But you can trust a Carolina RB?
?? Not following you
lol Sorry. My mind does weird #### occasionally. I read "Foster" and immediately thought of DeShaun Foster, which, in turn, brought me to Carolina RBs and how you can't trust them. Obviously you are referring to Arian Foster. And, yeah, I'd wait it out for him.

hahaha it's only been 6 years since DeShaun played a snap!

Yeah, I think that's one of the signs it might be time to retire from this game. 17 years playing FF and it's all starting to bleed together. :)

I cut him for Bridgewater.

After reading all the posts over the past two days I'm close to kicking myself.

Odds are he rushes for 100/2 (since I cut him)

FWIW, last week's snap counts:

Jackson - 27

Brown - 27

Dixon - 19

The week before:

Dixon - 41

Brown - 14

Seems Bryce gained some favor over the bye week. Bodes well for him tonight.

He'll get the touches tonight but why does anyone think either Brown OR Dixon can do anything against this stout Miami D at home????

Miami D isn't that stout, solid maybe.

The last time these teams met in Week 2, F-Jax only had 24 yards on 12 carries, but Spiller had 69 yards on 12 carries. I think Brown is much more like Spiller and has the speed to get outside. 76 yards rushing, 24 receiving, & a TD is my estimate.

Also worth noting is that every time the Bills play in Miami, it's at 40% Bills fans. This is more of a home game to them then those Toronto debacles were.

What do you all think of Brown in comparison to Sims? More potential? Better O-line? Less muddled committee approach?

More potential imo because of the possibility for 5+ receptions and the fact that the Bucs are a mess.

Am I nuts to start Ball over Bryce Brown? I realize F-Jax is out, but with Hillman out and Ball losing that weight, tempted to go Ball.

Bryce Brown will be the Bills' starting running back against the Dolphins.

Anthony Dixon had been the ceremonial "starter" in the Bills' previous Fred Jackson-less committees. The title still doesn't mean much, but Brown is definitely the better play for Week 11. He played a big part in the passing game in Week 10, and reporter Tim Graham expects him to do so again against the Dolphins. Dixon will find running lanes hard to come by, as the Dolphins are allowing just 3.9 yards per carry, and have permitted only four rushing scores all year.

Starting over Mathews, Sankey, Sims as my RB2 in a PPR.

I HATE starting 2 Bills, on the road, on a Thursday...but not benching Sammy.

:football: Let's go, Bryce.

Saw this too. I think he's a good start in PPR.

Yup, after reading this, i snagged him off waivers and am starting over Terrance West/Sankey in a 0.5 PPR.

He was actually available on our WW. I picked him up and going to start him over the banged up Lamar Miller. Hope it doesn't bite me in the ###.

Wonder how bad this could be

Fred Jackson aggravated his groin injury in Sunday's loss to the Chiefs.

In other words, Jackson's Thursday inactive wasn't just a matter of the Bills being on a short week. Jackson returned from his initial injury quicker than anticipated, and now it's costing him another game. He should be considered questionable for Week 12. Bryce Brown is getting the start against the Dolphins, but should rotate with Anthony Dixon.

I hate rolling out a guy on Thursday night. If he puts up a stinker, I have 3 days to regret the decision and be pessimistic about my matchup.

choo choo...

Interesting, the newly updated FBG week 11 ranks have Brown as a low end RB1 in PPR format. Even the staff here getting on board.

Optimistically in tonight.

I wish they would just say whether or not Foster will play this week. I'd love to play Brown if Foster doesn't play, but I don't want to see Brown be a bust and then Foster ends up playing.

Starting him only in one of my PPR leagues as my RB2 over Sankey. Will keep the other RB spot for CJ Anderson or Tre Mason on Sunday depending on that days reports on Montee Ball.

PS. Miami has only given up 4 TDs this year and the over under in Vegas is low on this game. Risky move but I can afford a loss in this league.

Have Brown in over Lamar in one league, and over Mason and Sims in another. Benched for Bradshaw and Hill in my third, can't get too crazy
