BTTF 2017 : Scoobus wins World Series (2 Viewers)

So, it's time for real talk.

It's true that Rodg texted me right after his pick. And I vaguely remember responding "Thx" before I rolled over and went back to sleep. Then I woke up and it was 70 degrees without a cloud in the sky.

I'm just now walking about inside to find an electronic device. And while I'm slightly remorseful for holding things up for such a long time, I refuse to apologize. You nerds needed the fresh air as much as I did.

That being said, I'm an honorable man (Take notes, Tobias). From this point forward, I'm going to self-impose a 15-minute clock on myself which is good 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Now, for the pick you've all be waiting for:

Matt Garza, SP, MIL

@Arsenal of Doom

Yunel Escobar 3B Halos?

im on my phone the rest of the week so just skip me unless it's past 4pm Mounatain time.  As such I don't think this stud is taken, but I'm probably wrong in that.

Freddy Galvis, SS - sucks at offense.

Had these last two guys on my list from just after my last turn - not many MI options left and Dietrich was my only other decent option at either position. Pretty shocked (though pleasently surprised) they made it back to me.

the ? we get excited about not even half way through this monster...

@Arsenal of Doom

@Doug B now OTC

Some of you may be wondering how I'll divvy up playing time between Matt Cain, Matt Garza and Jered Weaver after my last three picks.

It's going to be a tough discussion to have with these guys, but they're all pros. The best pitcher will play.

22.12 Dilson Herrera
2B got REAL thin suddenly.  SS too.  I think the last "starters" were taken in the past round, unless I missed something.

Dilson has nice upside, imo.  Should get at least 200 PAs, if not more.

Obviously you missed the great Luis Sardinas.

23-year-old who slashed 287/353/417 with San Diego last season and is the favorite to start at SS. Fangraphs once called him "the best shortstop you've never seen". After I made the pick, Trevor Story called me because he was concerned his starting job might be in danger.
