BTTF 2017 : Scoobus wins World Series (7 Viewers)

This dude always goes a few rounds too late for some reason. Melky has raked for me twice in past sims.
I think the suspension makes him downgraded......

looks like an 80 win team

what role do you see him having? (which is not a veiled criticism of the pick, but me picking your brain - love getting the local knowledge of various teams)
He was their best pitcher last year with 108 innings of 2.16/.91 and 104K. He's probably better than three of their penciled in starters. I think the bottom half of the staff will have a short rope after last year's dismal start.

13.10 Edinson Volquez, SP, Miami

This f'n format. So many better baseball players available, but I need an innings eater while there's still one out there.

13.16 Chad Kuhl

Thought Franco would snipe me as a Pirates fan, I know nothing about this guy other than that I discovered he existed yesterday.

He was 2nd on my SP list after Gsellman. The back end of the Pirates rotation is, safe to say, a mess, but Kuhl can keep the ball in the park for 150 innings, and should get a chance to do so unless a bunch of higher ceiling guys pass him by.

13.15 Robert Gsellman, SP New York Metropolitans
Surprised he went this high... then again who knows at this point.  Certainly a good shot to get 15-20 starts and an ok shot at more with the arms all coming off injury - IP/G may be a challenge if he relieves a lot, but again at this point a solid young arm is hardly the worst thing.

Since his last pick...

PS:. Gsellman a 49th rounder last year with like 50-60 solid innings including starter capability in a pinch.

Surprised he went this high... then again who knows at this point.  Certainly a good shot to get 15-20 starts and an ok shot at more with the arms all coming off injury - IP/G may be a challenge if he relieves a lot, but again at this point a solid young arm is hardly the worst thing.
I'm very down on Harvey to stay healthy, and they have other question marks too. I love Gsellman's stuff and even if he's 90 innings with 3 IP/G, I'll make it work.
