Was my choice of Beltre was gone - certainly a safer pick with plenty of upside as well. Not as good D, but his range was solid last year

I'll wager a guess that there's been a general wishing up as so the benefits of certain player characteristics IN THIS FORMAT as compared to fantasy or, dare a I say, actual baseball.

Id also suggest that certain folks have developed certain strategies and feel the need to get a certain skill set or position even if it's "early"

I checked when I took Pomeranz. round 7 last year, round 5 this year, coming off basically the same season.

In round 4 when I picked Godley I had I a list of 5 3B:  Sano, Lamb, Beltre, Seager, Shaw. Once 3 of them went, I had to pull the trigger. I’m just glad it lasted 3 rounds.

Team is decent so far. Pitching has a lot of upside, but some injury risk, too. Very happy with lineup so far, especially with no hitting picked in the first 4 rounds. Power is a little lacking, but hopefully there is enough left.
