How did your Cake season turn out last year?

I finished in last. Sure, it might have been affected by the fact I didn’t have much time for fantasy sports because  I was diagnosed with an incurable fatal disease which landed me in the hospital multiple times, preventing me from working, causing me to lose my business and my fiancée, but that’s just making excuses. I still finished in last. ?

Was eyeing this guy last go around - while he's likely not back until May, that still gives a shot at450- 500 PAs.  Much like Beltre, I'd settle for 400 PAs if he's healthy and producing expected numbers... he's been the last legit #3 type hitter (power, which for me is HRs and Doubles, and OBP) that can play the OF decently, for a while now.

Even with the injury I was surprised he lasted - I thought that taking Semien last go around would have precluddd me form shoemaker (and likely the one other guy I was "comfortable" with and 1-2 others as backups) and that Conforto would certainly be gone.  I had Trey Mancini as perhaps a better overall (certainly safer) choice but as I went for good bats and defense at the scarcity positions early, that meant sacrificing OBP so I needed another guy who could slot in at the 2-4 slots easily where Mancini was more a 5 hitter with 4 upside. 

Not that I overthink this ####.
