He's one of the last full-time bats available and the 24th or 25th 1B drafted.  I had Bour ranked pretty close to Alonso when I drafted in round 13.  In retrospect, I probably could have waited but I didn't want to be caught out on a position run.

Yeah, I was not expecting to go Catcher for at least another round or two - then boom, it was D'arnaud, Vogt and... ?  Sometimes you need to grab the "smart" pick, even if there's some flash still there, or upside you'd like to grab - discretion can be the better part of valor.

If there's one thing I learned last year: If you don't have catching ABs, just make your own. What could go wrong?
