Reported to camp not dead, so there's that. Maybe Detroit will suck so bad they give him some catcher innings for old times sake.

Feeling good about ABs and innings at this point in the draft, so let's jinx it here

8 "starters" and 3 relief guys. About 50 arms still on a list.

3 deep at catcher, 3 deep at 1B (if you count VMart), 2 deep at every other position except 2B. 6 hitters still on my short list.

I don't feel great about my team. Feel like this draft has been tougher than previous years.

Catcher - should be ok with Zunino/Vogt/Leon

1B - the one place I should be really good with Freeman and Pujols

2B/3B/SS - my backup UTs are Difo (Daniel Murphy may come back sooner than expected) and Neil Walker (not signed)

OF - Pretty worried here, Hoskins has never played OF, Hicks has some competition, Reddick is solid but could be platooned, Tucker is in the minors and Tapia is a wild card

SP - feel good about 5 or 6 guys with jobs, then some question marks. Biagini suffers from Jaime Garcia moving him down the depth chart

RP - I've only got 4 so far. Work to do.

Same feeling here. The house has seemed to converge on a given set of strategies. "Get a ton of SPs early" is the obvious one, but there seems to be a few other team-building strategies that guarantee competition for the same tier of names as we've moved through this draft. I've not once seen a player get taken and then thought "That guy is still around?" When it's been time for me to put some new names on my running short list, I can depend on them being taken within 20 picks or so.

In past drafts, there were many times I'd be set on taking a player, and then succeeded (got lucky?) on that player falling a few more rounds. Not so this time.
