At least for me:

If I begin typing an "@_NAME" ... and then mess up and press backspace, the @ thing will subsequently not work in that post at all. Have to submit post and then start a new post to @ someone.

If you go back and type a letter or two of just regular text, then back up and start the @ process over again, it works.

Stupid, I know. But a relatively simple, if frustrating, fix.

you don't need to start a new post. Just delete the entire @string and start over

Tried this a bunch ... no dice :shrug:   Might depend on browser, operating system, and who knows what else.

Ford is an interesting guy for a 35th rounder.  He's put up impressive OBP at every level of the minors but is underpowered for a guy with no defensive position. 

My 1B options are all left handed bats as is Ford.   I would have taken a flyer at using Ford as the short side of a platoon if he batted from the other side.

He just got traded here in July from Seattle and hasn't pitched above AA.  I'm hoping right alongside you on Herb but 7 SO9 doesn't usually translate to the bigs.

I figured they got him and protected him from rule 5 so they must like him :shrug:

I kind of already announced it earlier, but in about 1 hour and 15 minutes, we'll start 3ITC for the weekend.  If you're not going to be around, please leave a list or a phone number so we can text.  Also we may or may not (but probably will) go to a 30 min clock starting Monday.
