Call your doctor if your erection lasts for more than four hoursI have not been excited about one pick in this entire ####show.
My next pick, I’m a little bonerish.
Yeah well I thought Cortes was spelled Cortez, and Doug took him 10 rounds ago. SighCall your doctor if your erection lasts for more than four hours
He was ---- on my list!48.21 Chris Bassitt/A's
He's not good![]()
Despaigne's name was never added to the Googledoc. It's also incorrect on the front page of this thread. I did not take Wei-Yin Chen at 32.08 like the Googledoc shows ... someone else did.
There's the correct Wei-Yin Chen pick -- Chen appears on the Googledoc (and front page of this thread) twice. Once at 15.24 for scoobus (correct) and again at 32.08 for me (incorrect, should be Despaigne).15.24 Wei-Yin Chen
16.01 Dansby Swanson
That's some top notch sleuthing here, DougB.There's the correct Wei-Yin Chen pick -- Chen appears on the Googledoc (and front page of this thread) twice. Once at 15.24 for scoobus (correct) and again at 32.08 for me (incorrect, should be Despaigne).

Hows the job search goin?
Scribner. Only know this because I had him one year.Evan Scriber, P Rays
Team is so awful he might actually make it.
@HellToupee asked to be skipped so add @Doctor Detroit / @FishTacoTuesday to the chamber
Thx, didn't even notice the typo. Although Scriber will probably end up with just as good and eligible a season.Scribner. Only know this because I had him one year.

Rough start. It's been so long since I've done this. I hadn't kept up with networking over the years ... reaching out to people now, but it's been 5+ years since a lot of them have heard from me.Hows the job search goin?

Last time I was looking, social media was barely a thing (Myspace was about it, and that was fresh at the time). I just read a job-search advice piece that suggests that having no social media presence is a potential flag against a candidate. Didn't really know that the World of Work took Facebook seriously, aside from wanting to know if you have especially kooky stuff posted or something. I have LinkedIn going for a while, maybe that counts as 'social media'![]()
Thanks, RnR.If you don't have Facebook, set yourself up a private one with some smiling family photos for the HR searchers. It's just a box they check.
They want to be able to make sure you're not one of the people you mentioned above. Thanks, RnR.
Facebook, for 90% of the people I know that are on it (mainly my wife, sisters-in-law, and their friends), is pretty much nothing but back-biting, "Vaguebooking", conspiracy theories, right-wing nuttery. A way to talk bad about the people in their lives without getting busted for it (though it often comes back on them anyhow). Some recipes, cat videos, Etsy, and Pinterest links thrown in.
Given that ... how the eff did Facebook usage ever become a sine non qua to employers? So bizarre.
You'll get in the groove - and yeah, a lots changed in that last 5-10 years for sureRough start. It's been so long since I've done this. I hadn't kept up with networking over the years ... reaching out to people now, but it's been 5+ years since a lot of them have heard from me.
