***BTTF VI: Draft Over! See you in October (1 Viewer)

Verlander's line this morning: 8.1 inn, 15 hits, 10 runs, 10 ER, 1 BB, 9 SO, 5 HR(!!), 131 pitches, and he leaves with the lead

Is my coaching staff unable to pull him off the mound?

In the same game, Chapman came in to blow the save, but I still won, 13-12.

Sounds like you need to go in and change his target pitch count.

You can also change the call bullpen to pull him if he gets in trouble. It ranges from 1-5. 1 meaning that they never pull him, 5 meaning that they pull him if he puts like two guys on base. :)

i usually keep my really really good starters at 1 and my other starters at 2. If you go any higher than that they pull them too early and it kills your bullpen.

<_<   how your offense got to the mighty Jared Hughes for the late win I have no idea

as I suspected....good pen, some decent SP and a good enough offence.  niese and McCullers need to hang in till I can call up my better AAA 50 inning guys.

Man, hitting is out of control early on. My team has a 963 OPS :loco:

Bell 1.607
Jaso 1.482
Jankowski 1.336
Altuve 1.315
Cabrera 1.075
Posey 1.070
Orlando .970
Suarez .921
Blackmon .921
Mercer .891

Hitting fatigue lead to resting most of my bench for PM1, led to Pitchers pinch hitting

G.Cole hits a flyball solo homer to LF

I think I am going to need some bullpen help. Not pretty.

Have Josh Bell and his 500/750/750 line available
I actually don't have room on my major league roster for him. I will pair him with someone like Sergio Romo for a much better RP?

Bullpen have ERAs of 4.26, 7.50, 13.50, 7.36, 13.50, and 10.13.

But Fernando Abad has an ERA of 0.00 in 6.1 IP!

My top 4 starters have ERA's of 3.10, 3.38, 1.80 and 3.46

My bullpen ERA's are 4.15, 16.20, 19.29, 11.05, 10.80, 5.63 and 7.71.

They basically blow every game for me.

Yu Darvish is going to be an interesting experiment this season. Early line of: .090 ERA, .147 OAV, 0.80 WHIP, 10.80/2.70 K/BB per 9. But on a pretty restricted pitch count. Will be lucky to get 5 IP out of him each time.

Today's game: Salazar gives up 4 hits, 2 runs over 6 innings, leaves with a 3-2 lead. Raisel Iglesias comes in for the 7th and promptly gives up a 3-run shot and a solo home run to lock up the loss.

####### stupid :ptts:

FWIW, if anyone has a MI, limited PAs ok but decent defence? Would swap one of my equally as meh or crappy OFs (Richard or Jennings as more crappy Gutierrez or Holiday as decent enough)

Do anyone's player stats look like they have any basis in the reality of the regular season stats? I don't like to be the one to take my ball and go home but there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to this so far.

Arrieta is at a 2.25 WHIP.

I have no idea what's going on.

Its pretty bad.  We've been saying this for awhile now though and yet we keep coming back for more.

beginning to think this is really good advice for those (like oso tremendo) with otherwise decent bullpens getting blown up.

christ colon or amarista?
How come I can't find either on your roster (My Pillar?)

ETA - Looked them up... Amarista has D- range, im looking for D. Colon could work for a guy like Rickard.

What does it mean when I have guys with a 70 and 74 next to them. Still blue though. In fact, I have no batters who have 100
