***BTTF VI: Draft Over! See you in October (3 Viewers)

For those needing innings, decent chance I may have two of the following available.

Doug Fister 161 IP, 3.91 ERA, 1.329  WHIP, 4.39 DICE

Hisashi Iwakuma 166 IP, 4.01 ERA, 1.289 WHIP, 4.19 DICE

Mike Leake 152 IP, 4.56 ERA, 1.270 WHIP, 3.73 DICE

Adam Conley 130 IP, 3.94 ERA 1.412 WHIP, 4.08 DICE

Or maybe one of the above with either

Julio Urias 64 IP, 3.66 ERA, 1.484 WHIP, 2.98 DICE

or

Jameson Tailon 74 IP, 3.25 ERA, 1.072 WHIP, 3.46 DICE

Didn't he start the season in High-A or something ridiculous like that?

I drafted Sanchez I think two years ago, and the dude never broke AA   :kicksrock:
He started this season in AAA.

I read he had an attitude problem a couple years ago which slowed his development. Yankees even suspended him at one point. Once he got his head on straight he hit pretty well in the minors, though nothing that would've predicted this.

September Call Ups!

Jacoby Jones T-Minus 38 PAs for 3B eligibility.

T-Minus 49 for some Tom Murphy action at Catcher.  Might let me trade one of my crappy Catchers for a reliever or something.

More importantly, countdown to eligible IP:

Ryan Weber needs 2.2 IP for 25... hoping he can get those last few innings, and maybe get below a 1.6 WHIP while we are at it! :oldunsure:

Can Gsellman get 16 more IP? That would be swell, I tells ya.  Just swell.

Welcome Ryan Weber, and 25 (and counting) innings of crappiness! BARELY that is. God he sucks.

Come Gsellman, got me 6 more IP, need two more ok starts and we might actually have a staff.

Might have lost that trade on value, but I now have a real team.

My best lineup is something like....

Trea Turner 901 OPS

Dexter Fowler 815 OPS

Evan Longoria 867 OPS

Freddie Freeman 960 OPS

Adam Jones 777 OPS

Stephen Drew 882 OPS (low PA)

Kurt Suzuki 747 OPS

JJ Hardy 693 OPS

.... with lots of Jake Smolinski (727 OPS) Josh Reddick (728 OPS)  and Scooter Gennett (707 OPS) to make up for the low PAs from Turner/Drew.

Rotation...

Kluber / Fister / Gray / Conley / Snell

Andrew Miller and garbage.

I'm probably still (even after trading Cabrera for 300 decent innings) not deep enough to make the playoffs, but IF I do, that's a dangerous team I can field.

Ok, revised trade options. Looking for a power bat at OF or 3B.

I could return any combination of the above.  Could also deal Cervelli and his nice OBP for more power at the Catcher spot (I also have backups if you need additional PA's in the deal).

I can likely deal;

A Rendon

A Russell

I need SP innings.

Also, I have an awful 200 inning SP combo of Niese (120) and McCullers (80) for a 1.5 WHIP.  I would move the combo for 1 SP of less innings that is similar.  I want the rooster spot.

Here is what I am looking for:

  • 150 PA's of backup catcher
  • 150 PA's of utility (2B/SS)
  • 300 PA's of OF
I have quality and quantity of bullpen innings to trade.

Looking for a ~300 PA 3B/UTIL guy and some RP help

Can offer some combo of

525 PA SS, Danny Espinosa - 21 HR!

383 PA, 1B John Jaso - 350 OBP

60 PA, pinch hitter 1B Josh Bell - 868 OPS

164 PA of pretty good 3B David Wright, 788 OPS

Check PMs - I may have a deal where you get all three without having to give up too many IP

I'm 8th in IP and 10th in PA according to Fantrax but I'm still going to be short on SP innings and don't have any position player depth to speak of.

I'm practically giddy that Matt Garza has managed 16 starts/86 innings of 4.36 ERA/4.30 DICE. Five and dive for the win?

I'm going to need a backup catcher and a platoon/backup 3B. I have mediocre RP innings to deal (Jake McGee, Brett Cecil, Arodys Vizcaino, Trevor May). Typing that out, I thought that was going to be such a strong bullpen core   they all have ERA's between 4.4 and 4.9

I can also definitely trade:

OF Matt Szczur 178 PA 268/322/421

2B Brett Lawrie 384 PA 248/310/413

1B Ryan Howard  21 HR, .442 slg (dont look at his other numbers)

... or I have a bit of flexibility with my lineup if there's a creative deal to be had.

I'd also be willing to deal Bartolo Colon (3.22 ERA 1.23 WHIP 1.04HR) in a package for me to get HRs at CA, 3B or OF where I'd send back some offense and get back the innings one way or another - could be a lesser starter, or less starting innings and a couple meh relievers, I'm flexible.

He started this season in AAA.

Check PMs GB.

I'm looking for some mediocre RP to round out my bullpen. Have some mediocre bench bats to offer:

1B Billy Butler 242 PA 276/331/403
3B/SS Jhonny Peralta 244 PA 244/291/404
OF Ryan Raburn 246 PA 225/317/404
OF Abraham Almonte 155 PA 272/290/429

With about three weeks left to go, these appear to be my playing chips:

C David Ross (190 PA, .230/.344/.428, 8 HR)
C Tyler Flowers (271 PA, .266/.362/.421, 7 HR)
C Steven Vogt (449 PA, .257/.303/.405, 11 HR) - would need some catching PAs to come back.

3B/2B Yangervis Solarte (400 PA, .285/.340/.479, 15 HR, .966 FLD%) - Would need 3B PA back as part of a multi-player deal. Also will qualify as a 2B in WIS.
3B Conor Gillespie (178 PA, .244/.287/.412, 5 HR, .978 FLD%) - not much offense, but could help someone light on 3B PA. Should be a defensive cookie at 3B, too.

UT Marwin Gonzalez (447 PA, .253/.290/.413, 12 HR, .992 FLD%) - similar hitter to Gillespie, but more versatile in the field. Will qualify in WIS at 1B, 2B, 3B, OF and an outside shot at SS. Could help someone short on PAs at a few spots.

OF Michael Bourn (373 PA, .264/.311/.381, 5 HR, 13 SB) - heating up since trade to Baltimore
OF Tommy Pham (172 PA, .223/.327/.453, 9 HR, 1.000 FLD%) - not as attractive a piece as he was a month ago, but good pop and a for-sure defensive cookie.

RHSP James Shields (29 GS, 16 QS, 157.1 IP, 6.29 ERA, 1.627 WHIP, 6.13 DICE) - yucky, but anyone who needs starting innings in bulk can get him cheap.
LHSP Adam Morgan (18 GS, 8 QS, 99 IP, 5.73 ERA, 1.434 WHIP, 4.95 DICE) - stats have been improving over the last few weeks, could help someone half a starter short.

LHP Sean Doolittle (33.1 IP, 2.70 ERA, .990 WHIP, 3.27 DICE) - can help someone short on lefty bullpen arms, need a RHP back.
LHP Xavier Cedeno (41.1 IP, 3.70 ERA, 1.185 WHIP, 2.49 DICE) - ditto.
LHP Vidal Nuno (55.1 IP, 3.58 ERA, 1.355 WHIP, 4.54 DICE) - ditto.

RHP Shane Green (52.2 IP, 5.62 ERA, 1.272 WHIP, 3.06 DICE) - inclined to keep him, but could be part of multi-player deal.
RHP Trevor Cahill (59.2 IP, 2.87 ERA, 1.324 WHIP, 4.31 DICE) - ditto.

Doug - I may have interest in Gillespie for defensive replacement purposes, and I could use a lefty arm in a deal where I'd give back a righty. Lemme take a look

I could actually spare some starting innings, if I get some back in relief.  Again, looking for HRs from 3B, C or OF (have guys to give back in return if needed at all three positions).

I've got lots of middle infielders to shop. Aaron Hill, Darwin Barney, Dee Gordon. Need catching help.

Reminder to all you pitching-rich folks....

Mark Trumbo (leads MLB in HR) and Jonathan Lucroy (arguably the No. 1 catcher this season) are available at the price of a quality full-inning starting pitcher for each.
