Some of the worst reffing I have watched in a while. But all in all... neither team deserved to win this crap heap. Hard game to watch... Jets play calling was superior to the Buccaneers... bad calls and Bucs terrible play calling won them the game.

That's so weak. He gives him a light push in the shoulders right as his foot hits down out of bounds and they're going to change the winner of the game based on that? What a joke.

It was a very dumb play by the defender. It's a contender for fu of the year.

what happened?

Time running out (7 seconds left, I think) and Geno Smith runs for a first down along the sideline, and as Smith is going out of bounds the defender unnecessarily shoves him. Not dirty, but very dumb.

15 yard penalty leads to 48 yard Nick Folk FG.

Unnecessary is an exaggeration, especially when Geno looked like he was running out of bounds earlier in the game and cut it up field. He was pushed before he'd stepped out of bounds, at full speed.

In many leagues it will. Depends on how your league's scoring is set up. If it gives points for return TDs it will probably take points for return fumbles.

Unless Gino morphed into The Flash he was going out of bounds. Stupid, stupid play that everyone in the league knows full well gets you a flag. Like it or not, thats the rule.

I'm not a fan of either of these teams, and I can understand the frustration of the fans of both teams, however this was one of the most entertaining games I have ever seen.

Probly when he NFL discovered fans don't want to pay to watch 3rd string QBs handing off to 3rd string RBs.

In the NFL I grew up with, where men were allowed to be men, that wasn't even CLOSE to a penalty.

As a defender, your job is to stop the guy's forward progress. When you are chasing after a guy, and he nears the sideline, you are supposed to get all hesitant? Stupid. You go all out, all the time.

How do you know? How do you know he's going out, and not turning up field? If he turns upfield, then you look super-stupid as a defender.

If you watch the replay, Geno's right leg is clearly on its way out of bounds. I understand that it might be really difficult to determine in real-time as an opposing player, but it was absolutely, by rule, the correct call.
