Buffalo at NY Jets (1 Viewer)

UNinspired play calling by the Bills seems a bigger problem then their players right now

As usual, Romo gets it right.

Buffalo dropping an INT and turning the ball over in the first half makes the difference.

If those bounce the other way? Totally different ballgame.

As it stands, though, Jets deserve this win.

Just embarrassing.
I'm not really sure why Bills fans were so confident going into tonight.  Primetime road game at a division rival.  Bills fans were walking around all week assuming they'd be 6-2.  Looks like the Bills players believed the hype.  Hope this disaster brings them back to earth.

Disappointing.  People that haven't seen the bills play but see the record and hearing good things get this presented to them.

Problem is, this it the one they needed. 6-2, they look like they turn the corner and it's different this time.  Bad beat and average record?  Same old bills that will find a way to be 9-7 in December.

I'm not sure they'll get to 9-7.  New England x2, Kansas City, Miami x2.  They won't sweep Miami and they'll lose those other 3.  Can they win all of New Orleans, Indy, Chargers?  I wouldn't bet on it.

Now I've seen everything after that O'Leary play.
Still think the refs messed that up. A player doesn't have to be touched to be down if he acts like he's down. O'Leary got up looking to hand the ball to an official. The play should have been blown dead

McCown / Forte

Great to see a 38 y/o journeyman and his supposed washed-up pal Forte lead the Jets to an inspired season.

Ditto for Demario Davis on defense

Turning this game off because I can't listen to Romo anymore. This guy is awful to listen to for 3 hours.

I think someone was yelling to him that he wasn't down( a teammate?) and he started to run a little with the ball, then got hit.

Hughes probably deserved it, but why the heck did the ref stalk Hughes to the sideline? I haven't seen something like that before. Weird.

He did, but a full second passed first and the ref was just staring at him. He even held the ball out towards the ref. He CLEARLY believed he was down and was giving up any further yardage.

He should have not tried to advance the ball then, He gave up for half a second but then realized he wasn't down and tried to get more.  Really a judgement call.  If he had broken a tackle and gone for a TD, no one would be saying he gave himself up.

Made a last minute decision to drop the Jets DST tonight in favor of Tenn....obviously regretting that

:lmao: Screen pass to Tolbert. That's not what I had in mind at all when I said they should be throwing some screens. So dumb.

Even the Jets were standing around like the play was over.  Similar thing happened a year or two ago with Chris Johnson.  The defensive player had him all wrapped up, but CJ was lying on top of the player so had not touched the ground.  The D lineman clearly let go of him voluntarily because he and everybody else thought the play was over.

Somebody is going to get crippled one of these days because of the refs being so ticky-tacky about "he wasn't touched."  And if the defensive players keep going on one of these plays they get a flag and a fine for unnecessary roughness.  People need to use a little common sense some times.

Ahhh... Now we are going with the all Tolbert offense. That'll get them down the field in a hurry.

What a disappointing performance by Buffalo here. Never thought they would blow the Jets out, but to get blown out was far more inconceivable

I am so glad I didn't pick up the Rams defense and started Buffalo instead.

They look, um, great?

If by great you mean awful

Jets have the worst offensive line in football. McCown takes 1 step back in the pocket & he is buried
Wat?

Buffalo has one sack tonight. Jets have seven.

And I'm not sure how inferior the Jets are. The Jets are a Buster Skrine away from 5-4, and this was an utter wipeout.
