She said it was a new policy, and I've never had this come up before, so maybe it just started?I have been to a number of BWWs and have had 3-4 20oz beers with a table of guys drinking the same amount without a problem.

Well what the hell. I'm going to have to call them and find out now.My buddy says this is not true. He didn't elaborate; he just said it wasn't true.I have a friend who just started managing at one a few months back, and I just texted him, asking him if this is true. Will report back when I hear back from him...

Mention that you were told that it was a corporate wide policy. Then call the next nearest location and see what they say.
No, because my mom gave me her beer.Maybe your parents asked the waitress to cut you off?![]()
Looks like Frostillicus gets belligerent and sloppy after only two Coors Lights. This is going in my notebook. My buddy says this is not true. i'll be they won't cut you off from buying more wings. They hate clear arteries too.
Yeah, it's definitely not the policy in the BW3's in Oshkosh, WI. Pretty sure no Wisconsin bar could survive with a rule like that.I haven't had this happen at BW3's in Wisconsin. Maybe we're grandfathered. This is an outrage
Ok, I called and talked to the manager and they do have a policy but it isn't exactly one-beer per hour, despite what I was told.
He said that they generally try to limit customers to one beer an hour after the first one, but it's up to the servers discretion. So I'm guessing I was just a victim of an overzealous waitress (or perhaps she assumed that I was driving my 2-year old home), and everyone can just go on as usual.
what if I'm not driving and want to pound a few with my wings.. if some waitress told me only one an hour, I'd walk out.. plus, NO TIP!This is so very true. Love the Asian Zing.I've been a pretty regular customer to ours over the past year or two, since they have the NTN Buzztime Trivia that I've enjoyed playing since college. I've never had them say anything to me about beer (I generally go through 2-3 tall Guinesses while playing), but I have noticed that they started limiting the number you get and charging for ranch and celery. This has been pretty recent. The last time I placed a To Go order, I had to say the exact amount of Ranch that I wanted, and got charged for 4 Ranches and 1 Celery. Fargen bastiges. If that Asian Zing sauce didn't have crack in it, I'd be so done with that place. Damn you BWW!

And I would never return.I think the main problem was the Coors Light order. Maybe they were trying to save you from your taste buds.:beersnob:
You should have been upset they let you order the first one.But it was the Beer-of-the-Month.I think the main problem was the Coors Light order. Maybe they were trying to save you from your taste buds.:beersnob:You should have been upset they let you order the first one.
Love going into Hooters and they're pushing some beer "special" because they're having some sort of contest. Usually nothing special about it. Same price for watery beer. "But I win a prize!" What do I win for drinking crappy beer though? Nothing. No thanks! But it was the Beer-of-the-Month.I think the main problem was the Coors Light order. Maybe they were trying to save you from your taste buds.:beersnob:You should have been upset they let you order the first one.
They sell bottles of their sauce, don't they? Seems a more logical choice if that's all you're there for.If that Asian Zing sauce didn't have crack in it, I'd be so done with that place. Damn you BWW!
You can probly buy a case of it off their website. Just sneak a bottle into a real bar. They sell bottles of their sauce, don't they? Seems a more logical choice if that's all you're there for.If that Asian Zing sauce didn't have crack in it, I'd be so done with that place. Damn you BWW!
Well done, sir.My favorite part was when she asked if he'd like water instead of Coors Light. Isn't that like asking if you'd like Coke instead of Pepsi?

unless it was free, there's no excuse to drink that kind of swill around these parts, son.But it was the Beer-of-the-Month.I think the main problem was the Coors Light order. Hooters wings are an abomination.BW3 wings are usually pretty solid. We don't have a BWW around here. Is the food any good? How does it compare to say something like Hooters?

from wikipedia:Why are people typing BW3 instead of BWW?
History
Buffalo Wild Wings was founded in 1982 after James Disbrow, then living in Buffalo, New York, came to Kent, Ohio to judge a figure skating competition at Kent State University in 1981. He met up with his friend, Scott Lowery, and went looking for a place to get authentic Buffalo-style chicken wings.[1] Unable to find one, they, along with Mike Balsom, decided to open up their own restaurant, first in Columbus, Ohio, and then in Westerville, Ohio one year later.[2] Originally called Buffalo Wild Wings & Weck, from which the abbreviation BW3 was created, the restaurant became a franchise with 575 locations across 40 U.S. states.[3] The original name and acronym, BW3, was intentionally reminiscent of the acronym TW3 popularly used in referring to the television show That Was The Week That Was, a show of which co-founder James Disbrow was a fan. The company later changed its name to Buffalo Wild Wings, but still uses the short name BW3 on occasion due to the common usage by patrons. The corporate headquarters was located upstairs from their location in Clifton, Cincinnati for several years before moving to Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Jesus that's a boring wikipedia story. I'll be over here kicking myself for asking that question.from wikipedia:Why are people typing BW3 instead of BWW?History

Because he's less than 3 minutes away from the next hour where he's eligible to get another beer?Has anyone gone to the trouble of explaining why the new york fan would be cheering his player missing an open layup to win the game?
Agree on Hooters, but I think BWW is pretty overrated too. The sauces are fairly good, but they are stingy with their sauce on the wings, and the wings are often times pretty dry. Everywhere I've lived since high school I've found a local, non chain, wing place to get my wings because most other wing places are better IMO.Aaron Rudnicki said:Hooters wings are an abomination.BW3 wings are usually pretty solid.Radical Larry said:We don't have a BWW around here.
