*** Wednesday Update *** TM Detroit Lions (DET) The Lions placed WR Roy Williams on the Injured Reserve list today. Williams suffered a knee sprain Dec. 2 and did not feel the need to risk further injury after the team was eliminated from the playoffs. Detroit activated LB Buster Davis to fill Williams' roster spot.

Any value to be had here? He and Johnny Baldwin were both touted this summer, then both were cut. Does Davis assume Baldwin's preseason prospects?
