Buy Low/Sell High week 6 (1 Viewer)

Bell, Zeke, Gordon, McCoy, Hunt, Gurley, Freeman, Ingram, Anderson, Martin, Murray (Mariota back helps?), Ajayi (similar predicament but Cutler appears to be worse starting QB in the league).

Help me out....which RBs are the only ones you would have over him?
Ajayi? Really? The dolphins are horrible and Howard scored more in one game than him all season. Murray? Really? The guy isn't even startable. Anderson? Seriously? Zeke? Suspended 6 games. Ingram? Splitting carries like usual.i feel like you haven't even looked at Howard's numbers or are grasping at straws with some of those guys. One bad game where he got hurt. One below average game vs a tough team. And three good to great games.

I'd say McCoy, Bell, Fournette, Hunt, Gordon, Martin, Freeman, Gurley. So 8 guys

My buy lows/sell highs as of RT now:

buy low:

1) michael thomas. I was able to get him for kamara.  I guess the slow start to his season plus the bye week has owners luke warm RT now.  He's basically a top tier wr that you can get for rb2/3 value

2) ajayi - gase is showing signs that he is going to go back to riding him.  4 games played, 2-2.   The 2 wins came when they fed ajayi the rock and kept cutler from making boneheaded mistakes.  The 2 losses came when limiting ajayi's touches and asking cutler to be something he isn't: good at qb.  It seemed as if the lights went on for gase in the 2nd half of that tenn game and ajayi ended up with 25 touches.  This might be the last true buy low opportunity on him.

3) njoku - he's probably on your wire, but if he's not and you are hurting at TE, take a hard look.  Kevin hogan loves throwing to him and he's one of the only legit receiving threats on the browns.   I have a feeling he could explode this week with hogan vs a very banged up Texans d in a positive game script where they are trailing all game.

4) Martavis Bryant - Big Ben has a chip on his shoulder now.  He's gonna come out slinging this week.  I think Bryant busts out for a long td and comes back to prominence.

5) Carlos Hyde - I don't buy that his is now a hot hand situation.  I think Hyde is still the guy.  He the superior talent to breida.  If the Hyde owner in your league is spoiled trade for Hyde now.

6) McFadden - everyone thinks all s the clear backup to zeke but I think McFadden has more upside. Similar to the Lat murray / McKinnon sitch on the vikes.

Sell high -

1) kamara - his last game plus ap's departure has people sky high on him.  Again I got michael thomas for him.

2) mccaffery - it's just not really happening for the kid this year.  His qb stinks, and his OC is unimaginative.   He had a decent outing last night on national tv.  Sell if you can.

3) blount - Smallwood will be back, and blount is an older back. He's been running well.  See what you can get for him before Peterson pulls his bs again and gives him 1 carry in the next game.

4) d Watson - you probably picked him up as your #2 qb.  He's lighting it up.  Sell him now and get a kings ransom to a team that has Mariota or carr.

What would be a fair offer for an owner hurting at WR after losing OBJ and Eifert (TE=WR) if I wanted to get Lamar Miller?

QBs are hard to trade away in my league because all you need is one starter.

What would you trade him for right now?  Is RB2 or High end WR2 fair value or a considered a steal?

Most likely he is your qb2 if you picked him up.  So even if you get a high end rb2 or wr2 from a qb needy team that's great.

Sell high

Fournette - if you can get someone to pay on current production cuz he will not keep this pace up.  Defenses are going to start keying on the run.

Watson - now or right after this game with Cleveland.

There are so few featured RBs in the NFL that I will never understand why people always feel the need to sell them.  Who do you replace Fournette with if you sell him?

Why would defenses choose now to start keying on the run?

Don't you suppose they might've already thought of that?

Not Ingram or ajayi or murray

I didn't see a thread yet, so I thought I would get things started:

Sell High:

Alex Smith- I just don't see this level of production continuing, despite Reid's offensive mastery

Lamar Miller-decent showing the last two weeks, so it's time to sell

McCoy--still has the name value, but that offense lacks any weapons in the passing game.

Gordon--after yesterday, it's the perfect opportunity to get off this train

Demarco--he's just about finished and Henry should start ascending by the fantasy playoffs, if not sooner

Watson-- I don't see this production lasting and he will definitely have a few bad games ROS

Jones-- the kid looked great yesterday, but he was playing the Dallas D and Monty will be back at some point
For the first time since he's been in Houston Lamar Miller is finally getting competent QB play and involvement in an offense that isn't embarrassingly bad, he's been productive, and the Texans are likely to get their best O lineman back in the next few weeks. I'm curious, why are you looking to sell and what are you looking to get for him?

Thomas has been very good this year.  Starting slow?  His points have risen every game and he's scored a TD in each of the last 2 games and just had a bye.  I would not trade him for a rb2.

Trading away an RB doesn’t mean you are left withou5 an RB.  Maybe you could trade up to Hunt or Gurley or Bell.  Maybe you pick up Freeman plus in that deal.  Selling high has nothing to do with losing a player_ it’s about what you manag3 to get back.

I think they have thought of it but they have shown to be been more one dimensional.  Few rbs excel with a passing attack this bad.

Are you under the impression that teams playing JAX right now are keying something other than the run?

Remember Peterson's 2000 yard season. I was down on Fournette, but I think he might have a special season, maybe not 2000 yards, but special like Zeke did last year.

Not sure where these qualify ... but

Bought: Thielen

Sold: Hurns and mid 2nd Round 2018

Bought: Keenan Allen

Sold. Wright, mid to late 1st and 2nd Round 2018
