Heard Brown may be coming back this week. Harris already is back at FS. McGowan was SS in week 16. Green filled in. With the Bears getting a first round bye and the game in Minnesota not meaning much, is Lovie starting Brown this week or giving the nod to McGowan and resting Brown?Any news out of Chicago on this?

KFFL) Chicago Bears S Mike Brown (calf) did not practice Friday, Dec. 30, and is not expected to play. Bears | Brown misses practice, questionable for Week 17 - Thu Dec 29 6:28:00 p.m. ET 2005 (KFFL) Chicago Bears SS Mike Brown (calf) did not practice Thursday, Dec. 29, and is questionable for Week 17. Brown is not expected to play. Lovie is being very vague about several of his starters for this week. I can almost guarantee that Mike Brown will not play, and I would imagine that Lovie will have starters like Kreutz and Grossman not playing either.

Thanks!Orton already has been given the starting job. Kruetz is dinged so, he'll probably sit out. Urlacher's got the flu so, who knows there. I'm sure Peterson will get the majority of the carries to rest TJ.

Looks like the Vikes might get a mercy win.
