Cameron gets the axe... (1 Viewer)

Ok - someone give me a link where it explains that all NFL coaching contracts are guarenteed because I have never heard that before.I'm not saying it is not the case, but I'd like to see it for myself. I just find it hard to believe. Player contracts are not guarenteed, why would a coach's contract be?Doesn't make much sense to be required to pay someone you fired. Wish I had that deal to sit home and make the big bucks.
The short answer to this is that players are governed by the CBA which has as one of its terms non-guaranteed contracts, while coaches' contracts are not governed by that CBA. And yeah, it's a pretty sweet deal, of course you have to get there first, which is no small feat.
