Can we expect Chris Henry RB Titans to see the field this year/ (1 Viewer)

I'm not a huge believer in CH but since the organization did draft him very high, you would think that they would like to see this kid in some games to see if they have anything.. although the Chrissy Brown and Lendale White combination has proven potent enough through 2 games.

I really liked what I saw in the preseason from him and would like to see him get a shot at some point this year.He ran very hard and determined - the anti- Maurice Clarett which I think many people for some reason were comparing him to.

If you own him, you're banking on injuries to both Brown AND White before he becomes of any value this year. In dynasty, you hold him with rosters of 30 or more, but not with rosters of 20 or less. The mid-sized rosters offer the real decision making quandry - IMHO he's not worth a spot, but hope springs eternal . . .

I think it's wrong to say that he's waiting on two injuries. All it will take for C.Henry to have value is for one of C.Brown or L.White to get hurt. The Titans are still going to run the crap out of the ball, but neither of those guys will carry the load by themselves, so Henry would see a good chunk of carries if one of them goes down. And we all know that the odds of Brown making it through a season healthy are slim to none, so I would not be so quick to dump Henry.

I think he's on the bench this season and becomes more of the 3rd down/receiver type to compliment Lendale next season when Brown is gone.

Chris Henry isn't worth a roster spot in any fantasy format IMO. The guy was a workout warrior at the combine where Tennessee wasted a 2nd round pick on. Henry has a lot of athletic talent, but his problem has always been with his ability to find running lanes. If a running lane opened up the size of a Mack truck, Henry wouldn't be able to find it.

CH has never consistently started at either the high school or college level; I doubt the light is going to come on out of the blue and turn on.

:goodposting: , man I loved the Chris Henry threads from the preseason...I would love to bump them if it wasn't frowned upon in this forum.

I'll repeat for the 100th time, Chris Henry never has been and never will be a quality NFL runningback.

Most of the excitement (mine included despite never really having seen him) was the fact that (1) we knew Henry was gone (2) we thought Brown was gone (3) we knew Turner wasn't coming (4) we thought Lendale might never live up to his promise and (5) we knew SOMEONE was going to get to run the heck out of the ball. The Titans have used 3 first day picks on RBs in the last two years and it will have been worth it if they can find one guy to lean on for the next 5 years.
