I think Julio Jones should be nicknamed Predator. You got a better nickname for him?
Well I am not using "the predator", just "Predator"Nickname stealing is a criminal offense, and Al Harris rolled with "The Predator" moniker.http://bleacherreport.com/articles/123596-funniest-sports-look-alikes#/articles/123596-funniest-sports-look-alikes/page/6
Never Heard that oneI always thought sjax was predator...
Schoolyard would a tight nicknameJulio Down by the Schoolyard
Like he's the only guy to roll with that....Nickname stealing is a criminal offense, and Al Harris rolled with "The Predator" moniker.http://bleacherreport.com/articles/123596-funniest-sports-look-alikes#/articles/123596-funniest-sports-look-alikes/page/6
You mean "That Alien Thing with its own movie" no longer looks like Predator?JJ FastOh and since Julio it off all is dreads this Predator nickname is one year late.
Is this in the urban dictionary?"The slippery Cambodian"
He kind of needs a whole offense considering everyone on it is currently average at best...and most of them are horrible.fitz needs a QB
At this point in their respective careers/situations, I'll take Julio. Obviously, all three are very gifted athletes. It's hard to compare a young player to someone with a greater body of work but, for other than fantasy purposes going forward, I don't see the need to rank them.Fitz and Andre Johnson> Julio Jones. You can debate which you want for fantasy but if you disagree who are the better players more power to ya.
I believe in thorough research for fantasy football, but if Julio Jones is giving Nuru massages, I really don't want to know it.Is this in the urban dictionary?"The slippery Cambodian"
Championship! How about Julio I'm getting drafted way too early and I'm sure to disappoint a lot of fantasy owners this year Jones?Nice ring to it, no?
You can argue Julio isn't even the best WR in his draft class. AJ green was much more consistent last year and if he had the same quality of qb as Julio we may all be singing his praises instead this year. Fitz and Andre get it done every year, only thing that can slow them down is qb play and injury. If you look at Andres numbers 2010 he was on pace for 105 catches, 1400 yards, and 10 tds before missing the last 3 games. 2010 btw was the year Foster broke out and was the #1 scoring player in fantasy football, so clearly the "its a running team now" notion didnt slow him down. In 2008 and 2009 we all know what happened with him. Then last year he goes for 11 catches, over 200 yards, and a td in the two playoff games with the 3rd string qb throwing him the ball. It is nothing short of foolish to think Julio, who has proven nothing, is even in the same sentence with these guys in real life and I will still take Andre and Fitz in fantasy as well. People seem to conveniently forget Julio was injured last year too btw..At this point in their respective careers/situations, I'll take Julio. Obviously, all three are very gifted athletes. I always thought Lynch was the Predator...because he literally looks like him...like in the face and stuff.Never Heard that oneI always thought sjax was predator...![]()
I dunno man, 6 TDs and a load of yards in his last 4 games last year and has looked obviously beastly this preseason on top of Ryan looking to be a young master of the no huddle, seems like a no brainer to me. Julio is for real and if you can't see the writing on the wall at this point I'd suggest you prepare to eat crow all year, it's gonna be a long one for his detractors. I also don't know why you feel the need to point out that he's not a better football player than AJ and Fitz. No one's arguing that, not yet at least. You can argue Julio isn't even the best WR in his draft class. You mean he's not already in it?GUYS, I think he's gonna be a fine player but at this rate Julio will be in the HOF by week 3
It will be interesting to see how he does when teams start throwing double coverage on him. alsoI don't see Ryan playing backyard toss and catch like he was in pre season he will go back to old reliable Roddy. On top of all that he only had one target inside the 10 last year all of those red zone targets go to Roddy and Gonzo. I would like to see him turn in a monster season even tho I don't own him just cause I love watching Calvin man handle anyone that tries to stop him would be awesome to have another one to watchI dunno man, 6 TDs and a load of yards in his last 4 games last year and has looked obviously beastly this preseason on top of Ryan looking to be a young master of the no huddle, seems like a no brainer to me.
