Can we trust Blount tonight? (1 Viewer)

Is this guy trustworthy to put in our line up at even a flex position? He's having trouble holding on to the rock and DAL could be up by 3 scores before his 2nd carry, which may put him on the bench for the rest of the night. I think I just answered my own question but see if others are keeping him away from the starting line up as well. FBG has him producing adequately this week, and if I could get even 10 pts I'd be happy, but I can see him being benched and netting us 2pts.

I would never claim Blount to be trustworthy after the season he and TB has produced. I do think that TB realizes they have to control the clock to have a chance in this game and Blount is their best chance at doing that. I would feel much better about him as a flex rather than the RB2 I have to use him in.

I'm not trusting him tonight. I am instead putting my trust into Beanie Wells. He has bitten me plenty in the past so either he redeems himself or he bites me again.

I need 2 between Blount, McGahee and Holmes in PPR. I planned on Blount being the odd man out but think I will roll with Blount and McGahee. The Cowboys run defense has great numbers for the year but have been run on a lot the last 4 weeks or so. Also think the Bucs will come to play tonight for a couple of reasons- to save their coaches job, and a home game on national TV.

Four fumbles for Blount in his last 3 games. You know Morris has to be running out of patience and the Cowboys will be going after the ball tonight.

I'm scared the Cowboys will put up numbers fast on the Bucs tonight and they'll stick him on the bench, but as a flex I suppose I could do worse. Looking for 15 carries for 60+ yards and a TD here to make it worth the start.

Been looking at this more and the 2pt game vs CAR could be put on the shoulders of Josh Johnson being the QB, the 3.5 pt game vs HOU was against a good defense, which DAL is not. The rest of the past 6 games were 9pts or more.

The good thing I see is even through they were down by a bunch vs Jax Blount still got his carries until the late 3rd when he lost a fumble. He did have two fumbles and will be on a short leash, but Blount said he was put through double ball security drills this week. So flex play could be warranted.
