Capitol Police officer killed (1 Viewer)

I remember a time where you shouted from the rooftops that this most assuredly not a planned event.
And that amounts to about 40 people out of 40,000 or about 0.1%.  So yes, 99.9% of the people did not plan violence.  That was my claim.

I try to keep an open mind in this forum.  But you will never convince me there isn’t a Liberal bias in the media.  Just like you can’t convince me that Fox News isn’t Conservative biased.  There was a study done about 6 years ago that found something like 7% of the media is registered as Republican.  I mean, this isn’t even debatable.  People hardly conduct studies on this anymore because it is already so clear to the naked eye.  Hard to believe anyone who is half paying attention doesn’t see this.
Yeah, Tim keeps repeating his disagreement with this in various spots.  It's weird, but it's ok, everyone has an opinion.  Like mine, that it's weird.

I think the argument I've seen from Tim is that liberals are right, usually, so bias is ok and ergo not real.  Who can argue with that.

Man this disappeared fast.
Can't speak for other networks but it was surprisingly covered in last night's NBC Nightly News segment. I personally had thought it would have been out of the news cycle by the weekend too. But in the intro starting at 0:56, they touch on it and then at 10:15 they begin the segment on it, showing the image of the murderer at 10:50.

This story interrupted the morning soap operas as a Special Report this past Friday. At some point early on, it was thought by several people in charge of network news organizations that this would blow up big and be in the news a while.

Yep. And then they learned who suspect was. The weekend took care of the rest.

Or because, once again, there is no real controversy.  People pretty much agreed what he did was wrong.  There is no manhunt...no search for motive.

Its all pretty cut and dry.  So what you get is less interest by all sides...less clicks...less reason to run a story that isn't going to get clicks and ratings.  Rinse and repeat.

Weird. Wonder what changed?

Sorry I missed this. This is actually close to what I believe but not quite.
I think that bias is OK when either side is correct. Liberals are correct a lot of the time, but conservatives are too.
