Car Guys: replacing wheel hub/bearings and cv axle (1 Viewer)

Ben & Jerry's

1996 Nissan Maxima. Front drivers side bearing/hub is bad. Wheel has substantial play when elevated. Planning to replace both hub and bearing as well as the cv axle which has the tell-tale clicking sound when turning.

Is it ok to just replace these parts on that side since there are no noticeable issues on the other ?

Yeah, replacing one side shouldn’t matter. Be sure to check your pads and rotors as long as you’ve got everything taken apart.
