Cardinals "World Class" Defense? (1 Viewer)

This will be a very interesting game for both teams ...Will we see the Good Cardinals D from the first three weeks or the Bad Cardinals D from the last two weeks?Will we see the decent Cardinals offense from the first three weeks or the terrible Cardinals offense from the last two weeks?Will we see the Good Bills offense from the first three weeks or the Bad Bills offense from the last two weeks?Will be see the Terrible Bills D from the last two weeks or an adequate or better D Bills defense from the first few weeks?

The Cardinals D was "good" last week against the Rams. After the first drive, they mostly shut the Rams down. Considering that Dockett only played a limited amount (and should be healthier now), that was a good showing. They still got me 9 points in fantasy. Not too bad.

Unfortunately as least as of now, the Cardinals defensive players - including Dockett are pretty banged upockett - still troubled by hamstring and on the injury reportOLB Schofield - also limited and on the injury reportLB Groves - hamstring missed second day of practiceLB Walker - head injury missed second day of practiceCB Toler - hamstring missed second day of practiceCB Adams - hamstring missed second day of practiceWhiz looking at William Gay and rookie Jamell Fleming getting more playing time this Sunday

I am sick of all the hype with this defense. They are a matchup play, not an every week start/.

Yeah, I think I'm done with them. I gave them the benefit of the doubt two weeks ago because they still put up decent fantasy points, and then I held onto them after a poor performance against St. Louis.

I don't see any reason to hang on to them after they've underperformed against two of the best opponents for fantasy defenses.

I'm not sure they're even a matchup play. They've sucked ### in good matchups the past few weeks.If anything, they're a D that plays down to the level of the opposing offense.Clearly they should be started only against top-tier offenses like the Pats, Falcons and Saints.Bench them against the Browns, Jets, Chiefs, Titans, Rams and Bills.

I held them through this past weekend, and they rewarded me with a solid 13 point week. I actually was able to get some value for them in a trade (I included them with Rudolph to upgrade to Witten at TE). You usually can't get much for a defense, but if you toss them into a deal for someone that's been struggling in that area, you may get something out of them.

I would have dropped them if I couldn't trade, because they have San Fran, Green Bay, BYE WEEK, and Atlanta over the next four, and I wouldn't be willing to start them in any of those games. Plus, even though they have overcome it so far, the offense is just too bad for me to trust them to not turn over the ball on their own side of the field, leading to easy scores.

This weeks matchup isn't too scary though. Home against SF who has given up a lot of sacks at least. But they grind and run the ball a lot... After this week they are an easy drop.
