How come Carson Palmer gets no love this year in fantasy football? If you look at his stats he is within the top 10 for Qb's, in fact he's

#8 in my league. He has been damn consistent? So why does he get no love from these "experts".

This is looking at a fantasy football perspective, i'm not arguing that he is a top 10 in "skill" or whatever.

He's got a pretty easy schedule and the team is dedicated to letting him air it out? So whats not to like?

In my league where its 6pt td's he's gotten 19, 24 and 24.... pretty good to me?

Whats the deal shark pool?

I personally think he is underrated from a fantasy standpoint. In real play he looks like garbage. Point being, he usually gets the numbers, but it ain't pretty. FWIW he is QB#7 in my league.

This is probably why he doesn't get much love in fantasy leagues. He can't throw deep anymore and a couple times per game he just completely whiffs on a throw.

and this is one of the problems with fantasy football. it doesn't matter who is a good NFL quarterback. all that matters is the final numbers at the end of the game. you know what wins you in fantasy? quarterbacks on teams who fall behind. they put up numbers. they have to throw in the second half. 35, 40, 45 passes. 300-plus yard games. who cares if they throw an INT or two? as long as you are getting multiple points for each TD compared to INT, it will pay off in the long run.

palmer is 6th in my league. but he's 6th among QBs, tied with flacco, ahead of vick and brady.

who is the backup in oakland? i don't even know. i should, but i don't.

they just moved for palmer last year so there probably isn't a huge chance he gets replaced.

Completely agree, and was going to point this out on here. I've drafted Carson as my QB1 or QB2 in every league this year, and have not been disappointed. It's amazing that he had routinely been ranked behind guys like Russel Wilson and Kevin Kolb by most of the major fantasy sites (espn/yahoo/cbs) each week. Perhaps they're finally starting to come around this week, but I've been more than happy to exceed their expectations thus far.
