Carson Palmer (1 Viewer)

In the 29 games he played from '04 to '05, Carson fumbled 7 times and lost 4 of them. In the 4 games he's played in '06, he's fumbled 7 times and lost 4 of them, including two recovered fumbles on consecutive plays at Pittsburgh (and he threw a pick on the next play).

Also, Carson has been sacked 15 times already this year after going down just 19 times last year.

Is it a problem with the line? His knee?

I've been looking to trade for him, but these numbers are a little concerning. Can we expect improved performance going forward? Cincinnati's schedule is one of the tougher ones in the league, particularly in the playoff weeks.

It is definitely an issue with the o-line. I also think Carson has limited mobility, whether it is due to his injury, a reluctance to run, or just holding the ball too long I am not sure. I think the key to beating Cincy is too put all out pressure on Palmer.

I would certainly have to agree. And Pittsburgh was well on their way to victory in that game until the Bengals started using shorter drops and fly routes to counteract the Steelers' aggressive rush. But, I really think Palmer owners should be concerned with two games vs. the Ravens, another Steelers matchup, the Panthers, the Chargers, and Colts and Broncos in the playoff weeks.
