Andy Taylor seriously underrated. Should win in a landslide.

He easily beats Bob Belcher due to his police training allowing him to win in a fight, but he will have his hands full against Liam Neeson in the next round.

Ended up going the second route. Pretty straight forward first round. Danny Tanner vs Phil Dunphy took some thought. Went with Danny Tanner in a fight to the death though.
No way Tanner takes Dunphy in a battle. The trampoline magic man will be pulling out stunts to baffle the talk show host. No contest.

No you see Danny Tanner would distract him with a well timed lecture on the pitfalls of fighting and the benefits of making up and being friends right before stunning him with a finishing jab to the face.

Are we voting based on how good of a dad they are? Or which one would win in a fight?

Pretty sure those Homer/Vader seeds would be flipped if it were the latter.

I know Homer can take a bunch until the other guy dies of fatigue, but I don't think that would work with a lightsaber.

I assumed in fairness, the use of the Force is forbidden in the competition. Even then, I feel like Darth Vader beats Homer easily.

Uncle Phil giving some legit Cinderella team vibes here. 12 seed is way too low. Dude was easily the best of the bunch.

Andy Taylor, small town sheriff raising a boy as a single parent while putting up with a ditz of a deputy and an annoying Aunt. Wins dad of the year easy! :D
I have Andy at the top of my favorite cops, along with Bruce Willis in Die Hard. 3rd place goes to the guy who ruined his pants trying to arrest that dangerous golfer.

Pretty pumped that I didn't even know half these names. Guess that's what happens when you know who Mason Pline is and that he comps to Brent Jones.

I'm just so disappointed Bandit Heeler didn't even make it to the Elite 8. Probably has more to do with the age bracket for most voters here. It's a fantastic show and I don't know if I've ever seen a closer portrayal of my "Dadness" than his character. Phil Banks is a good Dad, but he doesn't hold a candle to Bandit. I said what I said.
