CBS commish question!! Any way to see all FAAB bids (1 Viewer)

I doubt it. My league doesn't do blind bid waivers but I can't see the regular waiver claims made by other teams.

That's crazy. Anyone know for sure. Sportsline costs quit a bit, pretty surprised if they wouldn't list this out somewhere.

Im traveling without a computer so doing everything on mobile and just assumed that it would be on the full site.

that is crazy as that info is valuable going forward in the season.

Why would they show the bids?  If i bid on a player and didnt win the player (because an earlier bid i put in went through dropping the same player)....why would I want my leaguemates to see 1) who that player was 2) what i bid.

CBS does not show bids, even to commissioners. It's blind bidding. For waivers you can set it up for Commish to approve every transaction, in which case you can see it before executed. IIRC that option though isn't compatible to the bidding system.

having said that, if u have issues with people claiming they did something but lost out on a bid, each owner CAN see their own lost bids as history. Have them screen shot their activity for you, if this is what you're looking for.

In this instance the commish messed up and the site ran pickups before he told people they would run. About half the league had put pickups in.

I'm curious on who made bids because I outbid the team (and probably other teams) that had Edleman on Hogan. I'm assuming they bid on Hogan because they did pickup another lesser WR and I guessing they would have tried to get Hogan.

Don't really see a way to "fix" this other than remove the winning bids and redo them but everyone now knows the winning prices - which kind of sucks enough because it guarantees I have to up my bid - but you shouldn't get a 2nd bite at the apple.

There is an option in CBS that dictates the Commissioner processes the FAAB. On that setting, he sees what everyone bid on all players. I don't know of an option where everyone in the league can see the losing bids, though.

Not to hijack, but I noticed CBS finally has the functionality to automatically run FAAB (blind bidding) for a set number of nights followed by a first come first served waiver period. Previously, the system couldn't handle this (it was either FAAB or FCFS) and that was always one of the things I didn't like about CBS.

I think if you had put your bids in on a player you shouldn't now have a second chance.

Messy.  You don't necessarily know folks are getting a 2nd bite at the apple...if waivers ran early and the Edelman owner had not yet put in a bid for Hogan, how do you know he just hadn't completed inputting his bids yet, clearly there was time.

I hear your frustration as now the cat is out of the bag on players taken, but I dont see any other way to do it than rerun

In CBS when you put a bid in it tells you when waivers will run, if it says a date that is unexpected then folks should give the commish a heads up.

Yeah it's a bit messy. We just switched to this after 20 years of normal pickups and the commish is a bit scattered.

If we can see they bid on Hogan and lost then I'm going to bring up that you don't now get to bid again which is why I want to see who bid on him already.

If an owner wants to claim they were going to maybe up their bid on Hogan later in the week well I guess I'm fine with that (even though I know they are full of #### - the Edleman owner is the cheapest person in real life and it's just carrying over into this   )

That's what we are supposed to be doing but seeing as the commish can't set a date correctly I have little faith it will work

May not be the commish's fault, one of my local leagues (also on CBS sportsline) had their waivers run yesterday, which was a day early.  The commish sent a note into support and was told it was en error on their end.  He reversed the transactions processed and waivers went through this morning.
