CBS scoring..how is it different? (1 Viewer)

Last year was my first year playing FBB.

When I talk to people they say that CBS scoring is different. When I look at the CBS rankings they are always quite a bit different than most.

Not sure what you mean - "scoring" is defined by league rules - categories, so same categories, the standings would be the same for any two leagues scored anyplace.

That said, cbs does have a ton of category options - you really need to see what a specific league there is using.

Atleast in the standard CBS league scoring, it added some stuff this year, mostly negative points that he drastically reduced RP points. Before this year the top scorers were usually RP like Santana because saves were 10 pts, same as wins. Now wins are 7 pts and saves are 5 pts. Also they have negative points for Ks for hitters at -.5. Other than that most of the scoring is typical.

Scoring for Batting Categories

1B - Singles 1 point

2B - Doubles 2 points

3B - Triples 3 points

AB - At Bats -.25 points

BB - Walks (Batters) 1 point

CS - Caught Stealing -1 point

GSHR - Grand Slam Home Runs 4 points

HP - Hit by Pitch 1 point

HR - Home Runs 4 points

KO - Strikeouts (Batter) -1 point

R - Runs 1 point

RBI - Runs Batted In 1 point

SB - Stolen Bases 1 point

SF - Sacrifice Flies 1 point

SH - Sacrifice Hits 1 point

Scoring for Pitching Categories

BBI - Walks Issued (Pitchers) -.25 points

BS - Blown Saves -2 points

CG - Complete Games 3 points

ER - Earned Runs -1 point

HD - Holds 1 point

HRA - Home Runs Allowed -1 point

INN - Innings 0.5 points

IRS - Inherited Runners Scored -1 point

K - Strikeouts (Pitcher) 1 point

L - Losses -5 points

NH - No-Hitters 5 points

PG - Perfect Games 10 points

S - Saves 5 points

SO - Shutouts 5 points

W - Wins 10 points
