Peterson vs. LT2 will be interesting.

I'd lean toward LT2 - bounceback year and less injury risk than Peterson (although you ALWAYS have some injury risk, especially with RBs).

I don't think Brady repeats his performance next year. He still deserves QB #1 overall but not pick #3.

Looks like the top five RBs are:

Ladanian Tomlinson

Adrian ADP Peterson

Brian Westbrook

Jospeh Addai

Steven Jackson

Not neccesarily in the order, but that is a solid top 5. Who else could crack the top five RBs?

Ronnie Brown (Injury)

Willis McGahee

Reggie Bush (PPR boost)

Larry Johnson (Injury, team concerns)

MB III will be interesting next year if Dallas lets Julius go (they will) and he's the man on a stud offense. I put MB III in that scenario near the top 5...

What's up with the draft order for that mock? Did they trade picks or something because it doesn't appear standard.

Even with the PPR I don't think so. He has been such a major disappointment this season. I expect him to be a very nice value in the middle to late 2nd round if Deuce comes back 100% heatlthy.

the top 5 seems to be established for next year. Interesting to see what KC does for their Oline and QB.

I cant believe Brady will repeat this success next season but rest assured someone in just about every league will grab in round1, the Peyton thing in round1 should be just about over.

I question westy in the top 5. McNabb may get cut/traded in the offseason, they still have no true #1 WR, and that smells of rebuilding to me. I'd rather take my chances with McGahee or Lynch even. Please let us know where McFadden gets drafted.

Oddly, I did my own 2008 3-round mock this morning, and had SJax at #6 also.

As for Westy, he excels regardless of who the QB or WR1 is. His value should not diminish if McNabb is gone.

I've been a Westbrook doubter for a while. I've been able roll out any number of excuses to pass on the guy, and I've been wrong every time. The kid's a monster. McNabb's been out a significant number of games over the last two years. Has it hurt Westbrook? Nope. They have no #1 WR now. Does it hurt Westbrook? Nope. I'm a late arrival, but I'm definitely on the bandwagon. McGahee and Lynch are solid performers, but the numbers just don't add up to pass on Westy for either one.

Lynch will definitely be considered a late 1st rounder and could be top 5, same with FWP and Portis. Assuming they don't bring in another RB, what about Ryan Grant? He feels more late 2nd-ish at this point, but I can see an Barlow-like offseason hype machine build for him.

Does this change your mind ??? Donovan McNabb-QB- Eagles Dec. 6 - 8:29 pm et Eagles president Joe Banner says both QB Donovan McNabb and head coach Andy Reid will be back with the club in 2008."I can't envision a situation in which (McNabb) is not our quarterback next year," Banner says. McNabb has been the subject of trade rumors to Chicago and Minnesota, among other destinations. One report had the Eagles demanding three first-round draft picks for McNabb at the trade deadline. Banner doesn't expect Reid's family problems to end his tenure as coach.Source: philadelphiaeagles.com :lmao:

If you aren't convinced that B-West is the real deal by now, you never will be. How much more do you need the guy to do? I think there's clearly a dropoff after the top 5 RB's, and I'd be very surprised if many drafts had somebody else up there.I think Romo in the first round is ridiculous.

What a F'in joke. At this rate they'll be done by the start of next season. Seriously how long does it take to do a draft?

5 J. Darin Darst Brian Westbrook (RB PHI)6 Dave Richard Steven Jackson (RB STL)
Funny, when I was thinking about this in the shower this morning, Jackson was the player I envisioned sitting there at #6.
What else were you thinking about in the shower?
That now that I've lost 45 pounds, I can get buzzed off a 6-pack, so the case of Sam Adams Holiday Variety I got yesterday can last me 4 days, rather than 1-2.
