count me in. i had perry and just dropped him. i wouldn't expect a 100 yd performance yet but should be good for 15-20 carries. i have a feeling cincy might be in this game, for once....Anybody starting Benson this week against Houston? With AD on bye, I am thinking that he may be a good play this weekend.
Close and competive are two different things. I've only watched highlights of their games but remember them palying catch up and falling short as opposed to playing a competive game.Their offence is pretty ... unimpressive so far this year despite the talent they have. PTS 14.0 (31st) YDS 225.6 (32nd) PASS YDS 151.7 (29th) RUSH YDS 73.9 (31st)Yes. Then its back on the shelf for 5 weeks: Jac, BYE, Phi, @ Pit, Bal.Then I bring him back out for the FF playoffs Wk 14 @ Ind and Week 16 @ Cle.I think he makes a great play this week. The record doesnt show it, but Cincy has actually been competitive..well Ill say the game has been close in the 2nd half...in every single game they have played.Might even be a few burnt orange #32 jerseys in the crowd as a ton of Texas exes live in Houston.
you know he's not playing in college anymore don't you?90 yards, td..
Again..every game has been close. Not competetitive as someone split hairs about above, but close. They were down 7 in the 4th quarter to Pitt. Lost to NYG in overtime. NYJets never pulled away.Cedric Benson this week:18 for 80 with a score. 2 recs 15 yards.I have Benson, Kevin Smith and Deuce and I'm trying to decide between the three of them which to start at my FLEX. If they can keep the game close, Benson should have a good day, but Im not confident they can keep the game close
me too....one week, then he is probably back on the ww.I hesitate to start Mcfadden, soooooWelcome Big Benson
Turner has a decent matchup. No way am I starting Benson over Turner this week (I also have both).I dropped Sammy Morris for Cedric Benson this evening, and I am seriously considering starting him over Michael Turner this week. Someone talk me off the ledge!
Turner hasn't fared well against the 10th, 14th, and 6th ranked rush defenses. Philadelphia is ranked 9th against the run and generally plays better at home. On the other hand, Houston ranks 22nd against the run and 31st in rushing scores allowed.Turner has a decent matchup. Philly is NOT a decent matchup. With that said, I have to choose between Benson, Green-Ellis or Edge this week. I'm leaning towards Benson but Green-Ellis is looking better and better every day.Turner has a decent matchup. Cedric over Turner would be tough to do, but its not ridiculous. Speaks to Cedric's upside that he's in the conversation with Turner.Get on board folks. Cedric makes a very nice play this weekend. 90 total with a TD.Turner has a decent matchup. (As an aside, in my view the passing and rushing matchups are worth the price of a subscription alone.)Philly isn't a weak defense, but the ATL rushing game is one of the best in the league, and Philly has been ugly in their last two outings against the rush. The Eagles were shattered for 44/203/1 on the ground by Washington 2 weeks before their bye, and didn't do a whole lot better vs. San Francisco in week 6, allowing 27/131/1 to Frank Gore and company (a 4.9 yards per carry average). To date, Philly is 9th in the NFL averaging 91.5 rushing yards given up per contest, with 3 rushing TDs allowed - but 2 of those 3 scores came in their last 2 games and they've handed over 334 rushing yards in 2 games. It's fair to say that the Eagles entered their bye week with serious issues in this phase of the game.
