Chad Jackson worth picking up... (1 Viewer)

I am curious if other people think Chad Jackson is worth picking up in leagues since Branch is still holding out. He should be a stud at the NFL level, and since Brady won't have other dominant receivers to throw too will he make a prodigy out of Jackson? What kind of value is being attached to this kid?

Ben Watson, Troy Brown and the backs got a ton of targets and receptions last night. Caldwell doesn't seem to be doing much yet, but appears to be the second receiver. Jackson may end up breaking into the starting lineup, but he hasn't had a chance to play or practice enough yet to think he'll have any real impact early this year. He's much more valuable in a dynasty league.

T-r-o-y BROWN!

A decent number of us have been saying it from the moment there was a chance Branch wouldn't be playing on opening day. Brady feels comfortable with Brown, he has a history with him and knows what he is capable of. There are quotes of Brady saying how nice it is to have someone so reliable out there like Brown. I'm not saying he is going to set the world on fire. But he is going to benefit nicely from Branch's holdout.

Gotta agree on the asessment of Brown. Besides Watson, who is moving up draft boards rapidly, Brown was the only other target Brady seemed to have eyes for. I was surprised how good he looked last night. I could see him piling up a bunch of 6-7 catch games for 70-80 yards if Branch holds out. You could do a lot worse in a PPR format. Think Bobby Engram circa 2005.
