I agree with Hank. I think the expectation for game one is to see Spann in a small number of packages as purely a runner/receiver. If he succeeds maybe they'll grow the role in small increments. I talked with Spann this weekend I think he realizes this is at worst, a showcase opportunity for the rest of the league and not necessarily sticking with Pittsburgh. I think that's a realistic notion to have. That said, I think he's good enough to impress and stick. Especially Moore getting old, Batch coming off injury, Dwyer still needing to prove himself as a worker, and Mendy possibly facing PUP to begin the year. That's a lot of iffiness with guys ahead of him.
