Just saw it on the ticker on ESPN News. No other info yet. I do wonder if he'll be suspended.
Impaired could mean "Stoned".Looking at that picture, the dude is STONED outta his mind. Here is from a Miami newspaper http://www.miamiherald.com/598/story/170803.html along with a nice mug shot
The story says that he has had no issues with the law as a pro which helps his case. Since the drug policy is not public information, we may not know for sure until punishment is or is not handed out.Would this be Chambers first strike?
I don't think anyone can know, becuase strike one is always kept confidential.Would this be Chambers first strike?
From all of Chambers' problems getting things together, I'd it wouldn't take much for Hagan to rise anyway. I don't think this has much bearing on Hagan's value unless Chambers is actually suspended.anyone else think this is a BIG value bump to Hagan?
Repost due to a complaint:That's super duper hilarious!!! A+ McBokonon...though having him on my team I must say I'm disappointed with Chambers' stupidity. In a move designed to mimic Chambers on the field, the Charlotte PD dropped the charges.

My arch rival has Chambers in my dynasty league.
I think that's a horrible idea. Chambers is my WR3/4 this year....give him a slap on the back of the hand and let the man go back to dropping 50% of the balls thrown to him.Anyway, come on commish, sit this punk out for the year!Make an example of him! Your previous examples are obviously not working!
Obviously the Charlotte PD has better hands than Chambers does. Plus, they have the speed to catch him in the open field.bcr8f said:Maybe he figured he couldn't catch a cab.![]()

I agree NFL needs to put this clown on the side line, 6 games suspended at least, is the message that needs to be sent.In a move designed to mimic Chambers on the field, the Charlotte PD dropped the charges.![]()

could have been illegal drugs in his system although I don't know if they would test for that...Why would it be bad if he wasn't drunk?Dolphins | Chambers passed breath test in DWI arrestMon, 16 Jul 2007 06:36:00 -0700Updating previous items, Ethan J. Dolphins receiver Chris Chambers passed a breathalyzer test at the police station after his Saturday morning arrest for driving while impaired, reckless driving and speeding, according to sources.
According to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, Chambers was taken into custody at 2:31 a.m. Saturday.
He was released on $1,750 bond Saturday afternoon. He has been working out in North Carolina in preparation for training camp, to which veterans must report on July 27.
At a hearing Monday, an Aug. 15 court date was set, according to Charles Keller, Mecklenburg County Community Access and Outreach Administrator. According to an arrest affidavit, Chambers had difficulty with some of the standard field sobriety tests, and he refused a breathalyzer at the scene. It also said Chambers was driving 74 mph in a 45 mph zone.
The six-year NFL veteran refused to submit to an on-scene sobriety test, but blew a .06 after being transported to the county jail, the report said. In North Carolina, a driver with a blood-alcohol content at or above .08 percent is considered legally impaired.
The arresting officer noted in the report that Chambers' eyes were watery and glassy and the officer said there was a strong odor of alcohol. The officer also said Chambers could not recite his ABCs or count backward from a given number.
