And to show how tuff the league is, he claimed Marshall off waivers in week 5, LOL!!! His team missed the playoffs for the first time in his 15 year fantasy life in the only league that mattered, that is classic....I'm the champ in that league so I can talk!

12 team league.

28 man rosters.

If Aaron Rodgers gets 36 or more points tonight, I lose the Championship.

I'll add to the bragging. Two championships won this week. Hopefully one more next week. Week 16 starters in bold.

Zealots Dynasty (12-1 regular season) (some end of benchers who never saw lineup left off)

QB: Cutler, Thigpen, Brady

RB: A.Peterson, M.Barber, L.Washington, K.Faulk, C.Benson, E.Graham

WR: A.Johnson, G.Jennings, T.Owens, T.Ginn, D.Bess, G.Camarillo

WR: C.Johnson, E.Royal, A.Bryant, D.Jackson, L.Moore

TE: Z.Miller

K: J.Elam

D: J.Beason, G.Wilson, P.Willis

I already posted one of my championship teams, but here is my other one:

QB: Cassel/Garrard (was playing matchups, then went strictly with Cassel)

RB: Jacobs

RB: K. Smith

WR: R. Moss

WR: Jennings

WR: A. Johnson

TE: Witten

K: ???? (musical kickers)

I still can't believe I not only won with this team, but led the league in scoring and tied for the best record. My #2 pick was LJ, who rode the pine for me most of the year, and my #4 pick was Edge, who did the same. My top QB pick was Vince Young, but thankfully I jumped on Cassel and didn't bail on him after a few weeks.

A big key for me was that I drafted Ronnie Brown late and then dealt him and Hines Ward for Andre, Witten, and Kevin Smith after week 3 (only Witten had been playing well up to that point). Solidified my WRs and TE and let me withstand some shaky QB and RB play for various stretches.

BTW, I've been the commish of this league all the way through, this being our 10th season, and this was my 1st title since Year 1. 5th championship game appearance, but I just kept losing in the title game. Never been as happy from a fantasy football victory as I am from this one.

12 team redraft (no PPR) - this week's starter listed first, defensive players rotated a lot

High scorer two of first three weeks (with DeSean Jackson's goal line drop just before he crossed the goalline on MNF costing me the week 2 total points title)

QB Rodgers and McNabb

RB Jacobs and Thomas + Lynch (acquired in trade for B. Marshall), Fred Jackson, Cadillac, Ray Rice

WR Fitzgerald and V. Jackson + Branch

TE Witten

K (revolving door)

DL Freeney, Vandenbosch (with occasional, poorly timed appearances by S. Ellis and A. Carter)

LB Bradie James, Stephen Cooper, Dansby

DB Meriweather, Finnegan, A. Wilson, Rhodes

12 team dynasty - was 1-12 3 years ago, this year lost regular season pts title by 1 point

QB - Brees, Rodgers, Campbell

RB - ADP, Grant, MJD, R. Bush, Addai

WR - TO, Wayne, Roddy White, V. Jackson, B. Johnson

TE - Clark, Fasano

K - Dawson

DL - K. Edwards, R. Seymour, Little, Hall

LB - Bradie James, Farrior, Cooper, Julian Peterson, Dhani Jones

Finally won my local league. This was my 5th trip to the finals in 8 years and I was guessing I was going to lose again.

After many, many trips to the playoffs and several 2nd place finishes in 10+ years, finally took home the SB championship thanks to Orton's poor night.

QB: Romo, Delhomme

RB: C. Johnson, Jones-Drew, McGahee, Morris, Dunn

WR: Calvin Johnson, Bowe, Cotchery, Branch

TE: Sheffler, Fasano

K: Kasay, Hartley

D: Minnesota, Arizona

Couple that with my Survivor Pool win yesterday and it's been a very good week.

QB: Manning

RB: Foster, S. Morris (Bench: LJ, Choice, McClain... almost a major ouch, A Peterson[CHI])

WR: Colston, Mason (Holt, Housh)

TE: Cooley

K: Hartley

D: Phins

Won by 6, opponent had Steve Smith and that reversed TD stopped it from being a tie (I had the tiebreaker, however). Opponent had outscored me by 330 points over 14 weeks. Nearly choked it away by playing the wrong RBs.

I was down by 20 points entering Sunday night's game. I won by 35. Having DeAngelo and Jacobs didn't hurt any

Ever seen this? A team in one league I'm in ties a seriously stacked team in the semifinals and wins on the tiebreaker. Championship ended up being decided tonight and that same team tied AGAIN and lost on the tiebreaker this time. The poor guy had the only player (Jennings) playing in tonight's game, and just needed one more stinkin' point (which if you look at the stats, meant he only needed TWO yards from him!)

I'm the 2009 Zealots Field Grand Master. I beat all of the other 47 2007 Zealots league champions.

My girlfriend, who I taught everything I knew, won our money league as a beginner this year.... and I haven't won it ever.

Here's her awesome roster:

QB - Brees, Thigpen, Garcia

RB - Sjax, B. Jacobs, C. Benson, J. Stewart, J. Norwood

WR - C. Johnson, R. White, S. Holmes, D. Mason, J. Cotchery

TE - O. Daniels

PK - J. Elam

TM - Baltimore, NYG

Won five of my last six regular season games to make the playoffs at 9-5 and the #4 seed (tied for 2nd, but 4th based on points). I won easily in the first round and have already won this week even with Jacobs and Williams left to go tonight. This was the league's first season, so hopefully it'll continue next year. The auction draft was enjoyable.
I am assuming this all worked out ok...

8-5 regular season after an 0-3 start. My team picked the right time to heat up :)

4th title in the last 7 years in the 10-team league I'm in (made 9 of the last 11 championship games as well).

2 protects, start 1 QB, 1 WR, 1 TE, 3 flex (RB/WR/TE), 1 K

All TDs 6

1 point for every 25 yards rushing (starting at 50)

1 point for every 25 yards receiving (starting at 50 for WR and RB, 25 for TEs)

starting with the 6th reception, 1 point for each reception (WR and TE only)

As a side-note, just to show how capricious the nature of fantasy football sometimes is, if you total up my starting line-up for the last 3 weeks and compared it to the rest of the league's starting line-ups it would be 9th out of 10! (The other finalist was 10th!)

I tried to outcoach myself but happily my team was very deep so I pretty much couldn't have screwed it up if i tried.

Here's the roster, final line-up in bold. I've also included what # pick they were in our 140-player draft, PROT if they were a protect, and FA if I picked them up during the season.

QB - Aaron Rodgers - 119th(!)

QB - Matt Ryan - FA

RB - Steven Jackson - PROT

RB - Frank Gore - 17th

RB - Maurice Jones-Drew - 24th

RB - Brandon Jacobs - 51st

RB - Matt Forte - 79th

RB - Cedric Benson - FA

RB - Sammy Morris - FA

WR - Steve Smith (Car) - 44th

WR - Greg Jennings - 65th

WR - Eddie Royal - FA

TE - Jason Witten - 58th

K - Garrett Hartley - FA

Kind of an interesting year in that I didn't have any free agents that contributed to my team in a meaningful (outside of kickers). There've been other times I've won the title where a picked up multiple key pieces off waivers.

The 5 draftees that I ended up cutting during the year: Palmer (37th), Chambers (86th), Mason (99th), Garrard (106th), Vinatieri (126th)

Starters in championship first / bench to follow

QB - Cutler (Schaub)

RB - Pierre

RB - SJax (Turner)

WR - Calvin

WR - Marshall (Colston / VJax)

TE - Gates

Def - Browns (Cinci / Played Titans all year)

Struggled with sitting Turner for SJax in championship - didn't matter scored same points.

Struggled with Colston / Calvin - almost changed at last minute, almost cost me the game

Struggled with Browns and Cinci - went with my heart (Browns homer) and almost cost me as the Bengals put up huge numbers.

Pulled out a squeaker last night as my opponent had Jennings and Crosby. Crosby's misses sealed it for me!

OK, I'll play. 24-team H2H split into two distinct 12-team sides, winners of each side play in the Bowl. Probably the deepest team I've ever had and I've had some solid teams in the past. Mostly drafted except for Andre Johnson (got him for Welker/Delhomme early in the season from the Brady owner) and pickups were Choice/Olsen/Sproles/Rosenfels/Schaub/Keller. Choice and Olsen being the only contributors there.

QB - McNabb

RB - Choice (Barber)

RB - Forte

WR - Fitzgerald

WR - A. Johnson

WR - Calv Johnson

TE - Olsen

K - Prater

D/ST - Chicago

Bench:

QB - Shaub, Rosenfels

RB - Barber, Sproles, L. Washington

WR - Royal, Walter, Reggie Brown

TE - Keller

K - Folk

D/ST - Pittsburgh

Drafted 12th/12 in a standard scoring league.

Brees (shoulda started Cassel)

Forte (traded Portis for him and and VJax the day before Portis came up lame)

Lynch (shoulda started Rhodes)

R Moss (in a trade for Cooley)

V Jax (see above)

Bess (shoulda started Ginn or Holmes - this is ridiculous)

Daniels (yep, shoulda started Shiancoe)

Longwell

Ravens

Still managed to pull out a win over the team that traded Forte, 129-119.

I won 3 out of my 4 championships, including a Wcoff satellite. The Satellite league was particulary amazing, as I drafted Maroney in the 3rd, EJames in the 5th, and Engram in the 7th; all of whom sucked wind. Picking up Rhodes and McClain saved my ###, especially last week, as I had to sit Gore.

Key move in week 16 was benching L White for in season waiver wire pickup Cedric Benson. That move won me the championship.

Almost embarassed to post this as it was a work in progress all year long with a total of 33 free agent moves. Ny top two picks were Joseph Addai and Reggie Bush...but I compiled a 10-3 reg season record and won three straight playoff games to get the title last night. Guys I drafted with a * everyone else was either a waiver or trade pickup...got totally lucky...33 stinkin moves. Good think champ gets waiver money.
