The reason he broke free might have been because the defenders heard the whistle and let go. Not sure - would need to see the replay again.

Is the rule “both” feet have to touch in bounds? So a guy could literally hop on 1 foot for 10 yards into the end zone and it wouldn’t count I believe.

Yet they let them have a rugby scrum for RBs. I remember years ago I complained about quick whistle, but they’ve swung too far in the other direction for RBs or QB sneak.
