Changes in a high QB scoring format (1 Viewer)

In leagues with not only high QB point totals (6pt/TD) but also substantial INT penalties (-2), my assumption is that the traditional dogma and that put forth in the 12 team perfect draft article is suspect. Waiting for a QB late value seems to put you too far behind the top scorers. I really feel that the -2 INT makes a huge difference, as a lot of mediocre garbage time stat padding QBs are crippled by this, and it tends to divide the players more sharply. What strategy variations do you make on draft day with this. Understandably, going QB early can pay dividends, but it can also cost good RB2/ WR value. How is this best handled?
