Charles Johnson (Car) ... FF credit? (1 Viewer)

At the end of the 1st half (00:36), didn't Charles Johnson cause that Gaffney fumble? He knocked it out of his hand as he ran behind him.

ESPN has it as:

(Shotgun) J.Beck pass short left to J.Gaffney to WAS 35 for 4 yards (C.Munnerlyn). FUMBLES (C.Munnerlyn), RECOVERED by CAR-J.Anderson at WAS 34. J.Anderson to WAS 34 for no gain (E.Cook)

Probably won't be changed until the official stat changes are posted, which doesn't happen until Wednesday, I believe. My league makes those changes automatically, so I'm looking forward to a couple more points from CJ.

Don't count on it changing this week. Sometimes these take an additional week or two before they make the correction. And depending on your league rules it's likely too late for fantasy purposes...

why do you say don't count on it? they've made plenty of stat changes every week. This site does a good job of tracking them usually:http://www.quickstats.com/nfl/nfl-fixes.htmAll my leagues (Yahoo, ESPN, CBS) get the changes applied automatically.
Relax my man, I'm not saying it WON'T get changed this week. Don't count on it is exactly what I meant... it very well MAY be corrected this week. But then again, it may not. I've dealt with stat corrections numerous times over the last few years (especially relating to IDP) and have found that while some are corrected by Elias by the normal Thursday timeline, all are not.I've found corrections on sacks and fumbles forced, in particular to take longer in some instances. Good luck with Johnson's FF. Hopefully it works out for you. While I am a Johnson owner, I've won already this week so I don't have a dog in the fight. Just relaying information so guys don't needlessly get their hopes up.

sorry, it sounds like you are saying that basically there's no chance of it happening. i've had stats not get changed too, so i know it's very hit or miss.

Yahoo showing Charles Johnson getting credit for FF (vs. Munnerlyn). Correction to be applied 10/27. No additional tackle.

ETA: When the correction was applied, a solo tackle was also given (in Yahoo at least).

Seriously? ESPN didn't give him the tackle too? That should be mandatory. Guys have strip sacks all of the time where the defensive player may not hit anything except the ball, but they get credit for a tackle, a sack, and a forced fumble.

I could be wrong, but I think the rules are different for a sack and for a regular tackle. I have seen IDPs finish a game with a FF as their only stat.

I see some people posted the stat correction from MFL...I don't see it in my league yet. Has the scoring change already been applied?

I lost by 2.3 points, so this would give me the win as well. :) Lost on a stat correction earlier in the year...guess this is the fantasy gods reversing the scales for me.

The stat correction CAN be automatically applied. It's a setting that the commissioner of your league needs to set. It can be done automatically or manually each week. My league does it automatically so I don't forget about it. New game scores are e-mailed to us each Thursday morning. Has changed a couple of minor things for our league, but no game outcomes yet.

Not all leagues automatically update. We just started last year, but I am not a fan. Before that the games were final on Tuesday morning, even if the league made corrections later. We pushed back waivers until Thursday nights now to accommodate potential result changes.
