I dropped him for Dion Lewis. I bought into the hype before the season but it's not translating on the field. The Vikings are being very conservative with their offense. Maybe that changes as the season goes on but right now the offense is all about Peterson with a little bit of Rudolph and Wallace in the passing game. Even Jarius Wright is getting downfield looks before Johnson right now. Johnson has been an afterthought to this point.
so much promise... so little benefit thus far. I'm holding for lack of anything better. I think he'll get his this year, but points could be few and far between.

Watched some of each game. Bridgewater isn't even looking his way. It's not like he looks his way and then goes elsewhere, he's not even looking his way.
Also, there is the issue that it doesn't appear Teddy's top target is even something that has much fantasy value. This isn't a very good passing offense.
this is my thinking. i'm not quite ready to throw in the towel yet because there was something there last year. however, in redraft? cut and move along if you haven' already. dynasty? depending on your roster limits and bench, you could hold onto him a little longer to see if there is anything. i keep thinking teams will figure out the offense, try to stop Peterson and make Teddy beat you through the air. I am also reminded that the only thing that stops Peterson is a court order.
Rookie who slipped to the 5th round, but was lighting up the Vikings pre-season and training camp. With CJ out today, he's getting a chance to shine.
I guess we will see if Johnson and Diggs split time at X or not. I could see Diggs playing at slot but Wright is very good there as well and at this point perhaps better at the kind of routes the Vikings want the slot receiver to run.
He has a Higher ceiling than a lot of current NFL wide receivers but may not get there. As of now it's doubtful he does much with the Vikings.
Vikongs are 31st in attempts and dead last in NYPA. 3 TDs / 4 INT. One game with more than 250 yards.
why? Because it appears that they are'nt going to throw much or because he's been out with an injury? Or is it because Diggs has emerged to the point where we're all anointing him the starting X receiver in this offense? It's possible that Johnson has been supplanted by Diggs. My contention is it's too early to make that assumption. I think this whole offense is struggling with the offensive line and needing to force-feed Peterson the ball. Quite simply this offense looked better last year without Peterson then it does this year with him.

Yep. Diggs has supplanted him. Route running is beating out size/potential. Diggs gets open, Johnson doesn't.
