I asked for a better member number and ***la's had recently become available. I gave him the login info so he could clean up some personal stuff a couple years ago, but I don't think he's posted anything on the account.And, Shiny was quite a loss for this community. They don't make them like him any more.
 
I always said I wished I could be adopted by shiny and scoobygang. I'd like to amend that to say shiny and Bob Sacamano. I hope shiny knew how much he meant to a bunch of internet strangers, let alone his many friends. :shiny:

:lmao: My manlove for you knows know end. :lmao: Ahhh, Shiny...man, I miss you buddy. I'll never forget the two of us competing in the innagural FBG Survivor league back in 2001. We could not have been more miscast, but laughed our way through it. The Russian Bride Draft made me feel compelled to bring the funny because I knew you would too. Probably the one FBG I wanted to meet most I never did. :(
 
I laughed remembering we were talking about how smart animals are. I said that dogs are smarter than pigs..without missing a beat SP said "They may be smarter but they don`t taste as good"

 
What the hell!

I have been a very infrequent visitor of late and don't recall seeing this or hearing anything about this. Going back to Ol' Yeller days I know a lot of peeps have "known" each other a long time around these parts. Terrible news.

Kind of weird thinking about how much of our lives many of us have spent on this damn site. More than 10 years for some of us.

FWIW, I stumbled on to this post trying to find out information about warning points in the FAQ pinned thread.

 
Argh, I am an idiot. I did apparently comment in this thread way back. For the life of me, I didn't recall it. My apologies guys. I just don't visit here that often anymore and didn't remember.

Wow, worlds collide. I didn't know Charlie the younger. I used to know Charlie III, his father.

Obviously I didn't know Shining Path online, but his father was a good man 20 years ago. Assume he still is. Can't imagine going through this.

This thread really shocked the hell out of me, seeing the title. I assumed it was his father and then wondered how he learned to use an online message board.

Something like that. I used to be a multi daily visit member here and now...not so much. Lots of changes to colors/formats/screennames/usual suspects. Kind of hard to remember all the details and nuances of this place. I never kept the notebook.

But yeah, I screwed up and thought about just deleting the comment. But I figured...that would have made it even worse in a way.

 
I didn't post in the FFA until after he passed, but I did a Google search on him just now and this thread comes up. I'd think reading what everyone had to say about him here would be a nice thing to find for his friends and fam.

Yeah. As was Charlie III's beard, at least back then. I don't know how many of you have met him, but that man can grow some facial hair.

 
BOSWORTH, CHARLES A., (BREED), IV died unexpectedly at his Birmingham, AL home Tuesday, May 25, 2009. He was 37. Breed graduated from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania with a degree in the Classics. After college, Breed chose to continue his education and pursue his life-long love of natural science. Breed, in addition to his love of science, was an ancient history and World War II buff with an almost encyclopedic knowledge of the Allied Offensive. He was also an enthusiastic sports fan and fantasy football player who enjoyed testing wits over board games and playing golf when he could find the time. He also took great pride in his outside "Stocktonesque" jump shot. Breed was exceedingly intelligent, exceedingly funny and was loved by all who knew him.
