Charlie Whitehurst (1 Viewer)

Its looking more and more likely that Tavaris Jackson will be out this week with a bruised pectoral. For deeper leagues and 2QB leagues, Whitehurst seems to be a decent play against a Browns defense that will be without Joe Haden. I'm thinking 250yds, 2tds, 1int is possible. What do others think? If Charlie plays well, do we see TJ for the rest of the year?

There's really no reason for T-joke to come back into the starting lienup. They are virtually out of the Luck sweepstakes. Time to see if Whitehurst can lead them going forward. It's already known that t-joke can't.

I agree. Jackson hasn't shown anything more than what we've already known of him. I think Whitehurst has the potential to be a better pocket passer at least for the Hawks. I hoping for a decent bye week filler. Hopefully he secures the starting role in Caroll's eyes.

better pocket passer? that implies their OL can create a pocket...considering how badly their OL has played, T-Jack hasn't played too bad. the good news is Whitehurst has some mobility as well

Well if he can make reads better than TJ, he can get the ball out quicker and make the OL's lack of talent look better. But its all just speculation. CW looks a lot more like the prototypical Pete Carroll QB though.
