Cheating in my Fantasy League (1 Viewer)

First of all, this is a public (free) league -- Yahoo Fantasy Football. As far as I can tell there is no designated "commissioner" -- there doesn't seem to be an option to "contact" Yahoo Fantasy Football... only an option to email my league, but that's kind of useless.

The cheating is taking place between two players: one who has just missed the playoffs and the other who is first in the waiver order -- the player who has missed the playoff just released one if his best players and picked up a player basically on IR for the rest of the year. Its totally bogus and I'm pissed since I am going to have to play the other guy in the playoffs.

Any help advice? Need to take action ASAP.

This is why you shouldn't play in free Yahoo leagues.

You should drop all your players and let the other teams have them.

Eliminated players should not be allowed to make transactions. However, if it's not for money, what do you care? If it is, don't pay. If you've already paid -- well, I'm a Nigerian national who has access to $25 million that I can share with you if you give me your bank account number...

You have nobody to contact.

You are getting screwed and there's nothing you can do about it. Except.... See if any other owners out of the playoffs are game and try to get back at this guy with the same move!

normallyt the commish has a little * by his name, go to league/managers and see if hes been logged on or if his email is there. Other poeple emails should be on there unless they hide them. I would at least call out the cheaters with the smack talk feature and message boardI know other people will say its a free league who cares but when you have a bunch of time invested it does suck being screwed over right at the end by cheating. Who the hell would cheat in a free league

Not sure who, but I had a similar one this year. #2 seed receives Palmer and B. Edwards in a trade ( no deadline? How did I miss that? ) last week, from a team out of the playoffs. I still have a fair shot at an upset this week.

If you had a side bet for a barrel party or something I could see why your less than happy.

Lets say you win anyways, are you going to tell your friends and family that you won fantasy football? The next question out of everyone will be " so how much did you win?"

My point is WHO CARES!!!

Next year get in a league for some big$$$!!!!

anything goes in these types of leagues. Obviously you take pride in your team even if their is no money involved which is a good trait to have. Just kick his ### anyway and move on.

This is the first year i am the commish in all 4 of my yahoo leagues. I dont play in the ones im not. 60% of public yahoo leagues cheat or own 2 or more teams. I stress no cheating will be allowed. If you get caught your roster will be locked. Was there some uneven trades? yes but nothing too bad .
