Check in if you have clinched the number 1 seed for the playoffs! (1 Viewer)

death of the cool

Footballguy
Just clinched the #1 seed and a bye.

The main guys that have gotten me there:

Calvin Johnson - Megatron was my 2nd round pick and has been well worth it.

Jimmy Graham - He was my pet cat that I targeted in the 7th. He was my best pick.

Mike Wallace - Dropped into my lap in the 4th round. He has proven everyone in my league wrong for passing on him.

Wes Welker - My run of WR's was finished off by Welker in the 5th. Having 3 of the top 4 WR's most of the year was huge.

Cam Newton - Drafted Rivers in the 3rd, but my best FA pickup was Cam after week 1. Best $2 ever!

Rob Gronkowski- Best 9th round TE ever....I used him and Rivers to secure help to my backfield.

Marshawn Lynch- Didn't start great, but he has saved my rear the last half of the season.

My RB's have been rocked by injuries....it started with my 1st pick Jamal Charles, then I traded for Bradshaw and he went down.

My buy low of Mendenhall has helped keep me afloat.

Good luck to everyone!

Believe it or not, its original name was “Delicious Brand Shrimp and Crab Seasoning.” That name didn’t stick, but the taste sure did. A more memorable name was inspired by a steamship line that traveled the Chesapeake between Maryland and Virginia, and OLD BAY Seasoning was well on its way to becoming a legend.

Check!

12 Team PPR. I had the 5th pick in the draft.

4 T.Romo

14 C.Newton (QB can be the flex as it should be in all leagues)

1 R.Rice

11 M.Bush (his rise times perfectly with Mathews injury)

T R.Mathews (early in the season)

2 R.White

3 H.Nicks

6 W.Welker

15 A.Brown

5 R.Gronkowski

8 J.Graham (start two TE in this league, with so much talent at TE it only makes sense)

Number before name is the round I drafted each player. T = Traded for Kenny Britt who I drafted in round 7. Otherwise team is homegrown.

12 team non-PPR standard scoring on ESPN, 6 pts per QB passing TD. Drafted 4th overall, standard snake draft. Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 Flex RB/WR, 1 Flex WR/TE, 1 TE, 1 D/ST, 1 K, and 6 bench.

QB: Stafford, Hill

RB: Rice, Forte, Lynch, McGahee, Smith

WR: VJax, AJ Green, Brandon Lloyd, MWill TB, Damian Williams

TE: Gronk

D/ST: Cowboys, Patriots

K: Cundiff

#1 seed, no bye.

Said all last year that Rice is a top 3 back, Gronk is the best TE in the NFL and Welker will return to form, so when I drafted Rice in the first, Welker in the 5th and Gronk in the 8th I was obviously pleased.

Fitzgerald in the 2nd and Fred Jackson (lol) in the 7th was an obvious bonus for me.

10 Team, PPR deep roster league:

QB: R. Fitzpatrick, J. Flacco, K. Kolb

RB: R. Rice, CJ2K, FJax, C. Benson, B. Tate, J. Battle, M. Morris, J. Ringer

WR: W. Welker, L. Fitzgerald, D. Bess, N. Burleson, H. Douglas

TE: R. Gronkowski, O. Daniels

DST: Niners

Team in sig...

Dynasty 12 teams, 3 time defending champ, 7 time weekly point leader, point leader by 185 points (10% more than #2), still had a H2H match this week that would have likely made me 4 seed if I had lost (would have been 10-2)...

QB - Rodgers and Stafford

RB - ADP, Rice, and McCoy, with Reggie Bush to change the pace and Charles and Best on IR

WR - struggling of late - Steve Smith (Car), VJax, Roddy White, Miles Austin (come back Miles!), Djax (you have to put your arms up to catch the ball), + guys that haven't started a game this year - Jerome Simpson, Reggie Wayne, and Jacoby Ford

TE - Witten, Olsen, Clark (and I had offered up a small fortune for Jimmy Graham this offseason)

K - Cundiff

plus IDP's that have rotated but are highlighted by George Wilson and Calais Campbell

Mr. Michael Bush (he earned the honor of being addressed as "Mr." by me) got me first, really solidified my team; an honorable mention to A. Rodgers as the dominant force on my team, guaranteeing me at least the playoffs.

Clinched #1 spot (10-2-0) - 12 Team Auction Draft $$$ League:

QB: Tom Brady

WR: Megatron, Wallace, L. Robinson, D. Moore, M. Crabtree, E. Decker

RB: Ray Rice, Frank Gore, McGahee, Ingram, Battle, Kendall Hunter

TE: Fred Davis

K: Who cares

DEF: Who cares

Start 1QB, 3WR, 2RB, 1TE, 1TE/WR Flex, 1WR/RB Flex, K, DEF/ST

Clinched a bye for the 1st week of the playoffs. Non-ppr, IDP Dynasty league. 10-2 record. This is a large roster league so I just listed the players that have helped me along the way to a 10-2 record.

QB: Ben Roethlisberger, Phillip Rivers

RB:Darren McFadden, Michael Bush, Matt Forte, Ray Rice

WR: Andre Johnson, Hakeem Nicks, Mike Wallace

Kenny Britt (helped me win a couple of games before injury)

Pierre Garcon (Started him when he had his couple of good games helped to win a couple of games)

Damian Williams (Helped me out a couple of games)

Vincent Brown (Played him a few games)

TE: Jermaine Grehsam, Kellen Winslow

PK: John Kasay, Alex Henery

DE: Terrell Suggs, Calais Campbell, Jason Babin

LB: London Fletcher, Pat Angerer, Chad Greenway, Curtis Lofton

DB: Morgan Burnett, Antoine Bethea, Yeremiah Bell, Sean Jones

Probably the worst roster to do it - there is a small , very slight chance I can lose the #1. we are doing an "all play" and had an auction draft this year and I just need to not be lowest score this week. Worst case I am a #2

Rodgers, Flacco

Pierre Thomas, Mendy, Ingram, Helu, McCluster

Welker, Holmes, Anotnio Brown, Cruz, Moore

Finley

Nguent, Gould

Bengals currently

Yes you are reading that right :)

13-2 (we have three double headers) - Keep 3 league - Foster, Rice and AJ were my keepers

QB - Eli Manning

RB - Foster, Rice, Wells, Benson, Kevin Smith, Vereen, Ringer

WR - AJ, Steve Smith (car), Manningham, Washington, Simpson, Thomas

TE - Winslow, Witten

K - Cundiff

D - San Fran

I am lucky in that we have two flex positions, so usually I start 3 WRs (minimum) and go with 2 TEs and 3 RBs, or 4 RBs and one TE.

I probably will clinch #1 seed in both leagues. But since it also factors in victory points, it's too close to call. The main thing is who are the keys.

For me the key was drafting Aaron Rodgers as my QB in both leagues. He provided me a 10 to 15 pt edge over most QB's I was facing. No one wants to see all the rosters. The point is if you have an elite QB, your team is pretty set, and notice you don't see many QBBC teams that make the #1 seed.
