chester taylor ? (1 Viewer)

With the reams of data out there, has anyone ever proven a correlation to stats in the preseason predicting stats in the regular season with any meaningfulness?

I know team records have little meaning, and I am inclined to assume stats are equally misleading, but perhaps some has laid down the math for all to gaze upon.

A study like that would be pretty huge. More than likely, it would prove nothing. Rarely do studs get enough work to show any type of trend, and the guysracking up the stats are usually doing it against teams 2's and 3's.What is important to know about Tyalor is that they have nobody else healthy at RB, lost their best WR, and have revamped their personnel on offense to feature the run.

everything ive seen has him really low. i mean come on am i the only one that sees the this guy will get 20+ carries and hutchison went there and t. richison.

if you ask me im putting him in the 1200-1300 rushing and a good 10tds maybe more. whats your take?
You might, rabbit, you might...Solid RB2, though.
He is my #3 RB :D

I don't think there is much correlation one way or the other. FWIW, Chester Taylor led the NFL in rushing during last year's preseason.

I will honor all my bets, but the workload this guy gets will be tremendous. Fason and Moore are out, he'll get 40 touches a week!
:yucky: This is truly horrible shtick... please just let stop.
 please grammer properly using
 maybe sarcasm
I know sarcasm, and this was not it.
grammar not grammer
As I said, I know sarcasm.

HK,With Pinner in the mix, do you still think CT will get his 40 touches?
Seriously, what's the worst CT can do each week? I'd guess 25 minimum. Taylor might catch 70 this season. 400 touches are not out of the question.
He's going to fall apart in a month if they try to give him 25 a game. You're assuming he can handle a full load off the bat, which is one of the main arguments against him.I'm not sure why you think Fason and Moore being hurt makes CT gold. (? I have not actually heard anything on these injuries, but am guessing that's what you mean. I've been out of the loop for a few weeks) Quite the contrary, injuries come in droves. If Moore and Fason are already hurt, that does not bode well at all for CT who is going to need someone to split time with.

Moore missed basically the whole preseason with a knee injury. Fason banged up his shoulder versus Baltimore. He played with a brace on against Pittsburgh and Dallas.

Considering they are opening against 3 of the top defenses (Wash, Car, Chi) I fear the 1st few weeks will be a little :X followed by  then  but then you trade for him and expect

Does that mean you'll :bag: , then :banned: , followed by :suds: , and then :loco: until Week 4?
:lmao: there's a good chance but that's why they play 16 games and his schedule gets much easier after that. If he does anything the 1st 3 weeks it's gravy IMO.

I think he's your #1 by week 7.I don't like Lamont this year.I think Westy will be injured by then.I REALLY don't like Kevin Jones and don't know why anyone would.

I have a question that if answered correctly, could lead to a significant financial gain...will chester taylor net over 59.5 rushing + receiving (combined) yards? TIA

59.5 yards total is a virtual stone-cold lock!

OK, if you were a betting man and you had a bankroll of say, oh, $1000...just how much would you wager on over 59.5 yds?

For game 1 against the Redskins I would put the entire G on the over. Taylor will achieve this easily as long as he is not seriously injured early in the game.btw the Redskins appear to have some problems ahead moving the ball if Portis does not play.

I wouldn't risk my whole bankroll on anything but the nuts, but it's hard to imagine a scenario without an injury where he doesn't get 60 yards from scrimmage. $500.

Hey B.! Like the sig?
Very much! B. Nugget
 How about a prediction for CT this week?
I'd say about 80 rushing yards and 4 catches for 35 yards. It depends how well the offense moves the ball, but I could see a TD thrown in there as well.I' m not starting him in either of my leagues this week because I have better options, but by week 4 I play to have him become a regular fixture in my lineup.

:lmao: Projections converted to scoring, then matched with the appropriate icon. That's what I'm talking about!

This week? Yes. The Skins D is tough, but I don't think many people realize how banged up their D line is.
