is he going to play this week?

I know he was questionable last week but got upgraded to proable i think..anyone heard if he will play this week?

The things to worry about for Tayloy owners are T. Richardson is out, and S. Hutchinson has been limited for the last couple of weeks with an ankle sprain. It's put a wrench in the Vikings offense.

They're resting CT. He's the entire offense right now, no need to burn him out during the week. Taylor is virtually indestructable, so its statistically impossible for him to get hurt. No worries, just enjoy having him as a Top 10 RB.

Well said. That offense was stagnant enough at full stregth ... those 2 hits further diminish it.As far as Chester is concerned, the guy has not scored a TD which punctuated a drive since the Vikings FIRST POSESSION OF THE SEASON.Yeah, he busted that 95 yd. score vs. Seattle, but ... as far as him finishing off a drive with six, it hasn't happened since the opening posession vs. the 'Skins. Disappointing, to say the very least.

I'll try to be vague to keep this from being a WDIS:

But is anyone coming close to benching CT this week?

Especially in light of the above offensive limitations and playing against MIA who's defense isn't a pushover.

I drafted him (with high hopes) as my #2 RB in both of my big money locals ... (behind LT2 in one, SJax in the other) ... but, this week I'm looking at starting Freddy over him in both leagues. It's interesting to note that Freddy has more TD's than Chester, even with MJD becoming the red zone darling in Jax.I just can't see Minny hanging in that Miami game for long. Expect a paltry outing from Taylor, as MeMo picks up the slack out of the backfield (on those plays where BJohnson can stay upright).

I've also got CT as my #2 behind SJ.........but strongly considering M.Barber vs the porous Indy def or even Edge vs Det but I just don't trust the AZ offense.

I just see the Minn-Mia game as a field position game.........not great for either team's running attack and very conservative passing attack......kinda "stay in the game" game-plan and hope for something to come your way. Not too many opportunities to begin with.

If I was you I definitely start MB3. Yeah, you could worry about Colts being up big by halftime, but I dont think thats very likely. Dallas should move the ball effectively throughout, and Barber almost always comes up with a TD. Last week he had only 1 less carry than JJ and 10-15 more yards. Who knows, if he has the hot hand, he could get the majority of the carries. Id bet on 50 yds and a TD though, and thats more than Id guess CT or Edge get point wise

I see it differently. Miami can move the ball. Matter of fact, if RBrown is gimpy, I think Miami turns it up a notch with the passing game. Scoff at Harrington all you'd like, but ... the guy has been putting up decent numbers. Minnesota is atrocious vs. the pass.I see the Dolphin's defense setting up Joey and co. in good shape. This could get uphill very early for the Vikes and their archaic offense.

I too have CT playing behind SJax and have pretty much told myself that I may be willing to gamble on a hunch this week and may play Maroney over CT. I have Willis out now and CT is starting to really scare me going down the stretch when I'm fighting just to back door into 1-2 spots of our 6 team playoffs. I need to hit on this RB2 this week. Call it a hunch, but up in Green Bay, this just feels like a Maroney game for some weird reason.I just think there is a better chance of Maroney finally going off again or at least scoring. He's healthy now and NWE needs to win this game as they are coming off 2 Ls.I guess it's risky as CT doesn't compete too much with other backs and he is a dual threat somewhat, but Richardson is out and CT just doesn't score enough. And Miami just held Larry Johnson to 75 yards last week at home too. The run D is pretty good.Anyone else do these out of the blue gambles like this and just hope you hit?

I debated starting Maroney over CT last week, and ultimately went with CT. This week though, I think I'm going to have to pull the trigger and give Maroney the nod as my RB2. Richardson is out, the oline is dinged, and Minny is playing at Miami who is very good at stuffing the run and is playing well right now.

Yeah H. K. stands for Head Knocker his old handle from his playing days.

If it is a blow out for the Colts(which I pray it is not as I am going to that game and am a Cowboys fan) MB3 would get even more time in the game as he is in on passing downs alot more then JJ.MB3 is good at picking up the blitz.Play MB3 with confidence.

Dude, you don't watch the Vikings games, that is obvious. Last week he did score, but he got hit at the goaline and fumbled and the Vikings recovered for TD. No need to review. The week before he took a 65 yard screen pass to the house, called back on a phantom penalty. The refs even said the screwed up. Watch the games before making comments! Taylor is fine! He catches balls and can run! Like the guy said before have fun with a top 10 RB

Yeah H. K. stands for Head Knocker his old handle from his playing days.
:lmao: Taylor has never gotten hurt as feature RB for the Vikings. He has answered any questions about his durability by becoming a paragon of toughness and impervious to injury. He'll never get hurt. Period.

Eat me, Francine.

I also thought of sitting him in favor of Maroney, but remembering that 75 yd TD scamper called back, and being in a ppr league, I'm going to roll the dice and hope he makes up for a sub-par rushing day (which I fully expect) with an extra reception or two as Brad will have to play the dump-offs.
