Chicago vs Indy thread (1 Viewer)

I'm surprised with the ol being so weak for the bears, they didn't go all out to get Willie Anderson. He would've been a huge help.

Hey not to highjack this thread, but does anyone have a .gif of the Forte run or know where to find it. I want to see it as he is on my team and I missed the run. TIA!

All those who bashed the Bears all off-season, your crow is served. Bears look better than the Skins, Lions and Seahawks, all of whom played inferior teams on the road and got man handled.
The Giants at New York are "an inferior team"?
I edited it...sorry. I meant inferior to the Colts. The Colts have ALWAYS started at least 7-0....that is the best homefield in all of football in Sept and Oct.

3rd and 5.. I don't like the draw esp. against a quick defense....

Hester does make 5 yard play exciting.. I agree.
Gordon> hey
Gordon?
I may be a little intoxicated but wth does this mean.. Robby Gordon, Flash Gordon... Gordon's fish sticks?
This is a football board, so naturally we're referring to the former QB of the New York Jets.
football board? GO PELE ! ! He played for a NY football team also

You know that Big Bang thing? The Colts were 7-0 that year.

Colts >>>>>>>> nanoparticulates

my goodness is Orton a horrible QB
Passing Chicago Comp Att Yds Pct Y/A Sack YdsL TD Int K. Orton 7 13 91 53.8 7.0 1 8 0 0 Indianapolis Comp Att Yds Pct Y/A Sack YdsL TD Int P. Manning 10 20 119 50.0 6.0 1 10 0 0
My goodness, Manning is having a horrible game.
Orton should make the Pro Bowl if he keeps this up.Pretty sure he's a top 3 QB in the NFL right now. He's outperforming Manning at Indy. Nobody does that.

With a group of WRs in CHI you could probably do a reality show or something

Kreutz, Garza, and Tait with help from Desmond Clark are routinely dominating the Colts line on running plays. Forte is obviously much better than Benson. Good vision plus quick feet and pushes the pile forward. Orton has actually made a few good throws. It was nice to see them actually put the ball in Orton's hands in the second quarter. The last throw to Olsen is encouraging.

On defense, the only flaw is the blitz is not reaching Manning consistently and the secondary is getting burned when it doesn't. Luckily, the Colts are missing some shots. OGun and Alex Brown are playing well at the ends especially against the run. Harrison blew up Diem on that play before the safety for the sack.

I don't mean to dim the enthusiasm of Bears fans (if you can't be enthusiastic when you're ahead in Week 1, you're not a football fan) but didn't they have a pretty nice performance against a very strong AFC team in week 1 of last year?

The defense did but the offense was horrible. And Hester just fooled himself.

Yes against Chargers. But we lost Brown, Dusty in 1st half too.

Not a Bears fan, but not really. They lost 14-3 to the Chargers.

I agree with this. A semblance of a pass rush would be nice.
