Chiefs at Chargers (1 Viewer)

I have never seen a starting NFL RB take himself out of a game more than Matthews the last two years. After every hit it seems he is waving to be subbed out.

KC with 9 rush attempts for 10 yards

Cassel makes it 10-18

it'll get better

matthews limping off...
Maybe he should stop dancing behind the line of scrimmage...
Is there any softer player in the NFL?
he probably won't return
If he was not such a high pick in leagues he would be cut by most in redraft by now.
meh, I wouldn't cut a guy who gets me double digits when he plays.
Even after all his fumbles and no chance at garbage time points as he always gives way to Brown, or even Battle in short yardage.

all that and I still get double digits from him just about every week. Unless he's inactive, I'm probably not benching him let alone dropping him.

How is Charles supposed to get in any rhythm when he comes out every other play?

The chiefs are trying to get cute....Crennel is digging his own grave and doesn't even realizes because he is too fat

Charles gives up more yards than anyone in football. Every other play he gives away 3 yards from running backwards.

Also, wasn't Hillis supposed to be good at short yardage. This guy goes down at first contact every time.

Is a Mathews injury even a big loss? Hes a 2 down back on a bad team and he doesnt even get goal line touches.

I hate to say it, but Jamaal Charles is almost unstartable. So sad bc there might only be 5-7 RB's in the NFL with more talent. Crennel and the OC need to be fired ASAP.

I wonder if Romeo Crennel and Chan Gailey will become friends when the both realize that they got fired because they didn't give the better running back the ball more.

some Coaches are so worried about keeping people fresh and their sub packages that they don't even think about getting their best player the ball as much as possible.

except Hunt won't fire Pioli until at least next year because he'd have to pay him something like $15m if he did it this year. And that matters because Crennel is already his 2nd hire, and he won't get a 3rd. So the consensus here in KC is that they are stuck with Romeo and Pioli until next season...then both will probably be fired. In the meantime, they are going to try to dump anyone of value - Bowe won't be back for certain...they'll trade DJ and Hali and a few others who are older, and truly just start from scratch in 2014. It's very very ugly in KC.

I'm pretty sure he had a one yd run earlier.
Charles has nowhere to run... It is amazing he has produced anything. There are high school teams in Texas that could beat the Chiefs.
