Childress proves he not only can't Coach (1 Viewer)

Have Frasier or Bevel be the coach the rest the year, you will hear cheers from the players and the fans. Especially me.
Bevell has been handcuffed since his arrival. He's too good a guy to undermine Childress. I believe this offense would be #1 in points, yards, etc with Bevell calling the plays.Frankly, I wish Darrell was a frontrunner for the U of M coaching vacancy.

Again anyone defending Childress here I say this to you. I hope he's running YOUR favorite team next year. Then when you start realizing how horrible he is I'll bring up these posts. Yes Packer fans I'm talking about you, I'd love nothing more than to see him destroy the Packers like he has the Vikings. Heck I should send a letter to Jerry Jones saying he would be an excellent candidate to run the Cowboys... good family man and all... that's not a bad idea.
The only Packer fans "backing" him are those that love to continue to watch him waste the talent that is on the Vikings squad.
I'll tell you what. This Vikings team must be the most talented team in the history of the NFL. They have the so called worst head coach in the NFL and STILL managed 10-6 and an NFC North title in 2008. Then got a real QB and only missed the SB because of turnovers (can't blame the coach for that). So they're THAT much better than everyone else that they can reach that level of excellence with a completely incompetent coach? Amazing! Also, if it's not Chilly, I'd like to know WHO on that coaching staff got Brett Favre to throw only 7 INTS last year. I don't think Vikings fans fully appreciate how extraordrinary that was. That has NEVER happened in Green Bay during Favre's time here. Somebody got him to do what he REFUSED to do in Green Bay. Whichever coach that is (Bevell? ) should be the next Vikings head coach. And I can't help but notice that despite an apparent seething hatred for Childress, Percy Harvin played perhaps the best game of his career (supposedly with a serious injury). If Chilly has lost the lockerroom, it doesn't appear to have un-motived the players any. More the contrary, I would argue. They seem to be rallying around each other. Why would they fire him now?
Man do I wish he'd become the Packers head coach!

From Bill Simmons:

Let's look at a sampling of things that were anonymously said about Brad Childress this week. I made up only three of them.

"We know that Childress doesn't have our backs, so why should we have his?"

"He has absolutely no people skills."

"I'm not the player who crapped on the hood of his car. But I know who did."

"We're playing for us, and we're winning despite him."

"Do I always get along with my coach, quarterback coach, offensive coordinator? No. Do I always agree with the plays that are called? No."

"Sometimes I think about framing him for a murder. Then I think it would be more fun just to kill him."

"As much as I hate Childress, I will keep playing."

"Instead of dumping Gatorade on Childress if we beat Chicago on Sunday, I want to lock him in a porta-john and tip him over. Actually, I want to do that anyway."
