I like Chris Berman, maybe not as an announcer but just talking about sports, but that C'mon Man thing they had going on was odd. I remember watching that the first time and wondering if it was some type of skit or gag....the only thing making me forget how bad the Berman/Dilfer team is that someone in this thread actually admitted to liking the C'mon Man segment.

wow. i'm just watching the game right now. Berman's call of Skelton's first pick may have been the worst call of a play i've ever heard. so bad in fact that i felt it was necessary to come post in this thread. then while i'm looking for this thread, he calls kendall wright's td route a quick slant. makes me laugh

I actually like Berman/Dilfer. Dilfer is actually pretty sharp. He's kinda like steve young without being annoying. Berman is an icon, kinda like Madden. If Berman bothers people, then the all the ex-players on NFL network must drive the same people F'n crazy....the only thing making me forget how bad the Berman/Dilfer team is that someone in this thread actually admitted to liking the C'mon Man segment.

watching Deion and his shtick do highlights on Sunday night make me long for Berman.

Berman is just...weird. he was innovative and unique 20 years ago. Now he's just out there, like your crazy aunt who makes everyone just scratch their heads at thanksgiving dinner

Yup, the countdown crew is pretty bad except Ditka and Jackson. Berman seems out of it, Dilfer is basic but not too bad. I don't think they'll be together anymore so that's good....

Agree, and Ditka and Jackson don't get a chance to talk much because of Keyshawn and Carter. Anybody else notice that Carter begins most of his sentences with " I believe... ".
