I picked him up at 13.3 last night in a serious league and was VERY happy. Would have been glad to have him much earlier. Owners - at least in my league - seem extremely skittish about his injury history, but it's not really any worse than several other backs taken much higher
Also, the guy had 1200 total yds and 7 TDs on a crappy team last year, so there's no reason to think he shouldn't be able to put up relatively decent numbers again given the opportunity. And the ADP is nice.
I was just having this conversation with a league-mate on Messenger.I said that Chris Brown is going to exceed everyone's expectations this year. He agreed with me... and then said, "only because everyone is expecting him to do nothing... and something is better than nothing."So yeah, he's underrated... but even if you did rate him "fairly" I don't think he's that well off.and yes, I am a Chris Brown owner. 16 team league, huge keepers with 3 year contracts, etc. I do have Portis, Lundy, Addai, and Brown as my RBs... Delhomme, Brees, Grossman as my QBs (you need 2... and with 16 teams, it's hard because some teams like me have 3), and Chad Johnson, Joey Galloway, Reggie Brown, David Givens, Isaac Bruce, and Chris Henry as my WRs, with Shockey at TE.I'm starting C Brown this week (over Addai) and am hoping for about 75 yards and a cheap TD.Wish me luck. I'll need it.

add in that jeff fisher claims that he wants to get back to running the ball and wants to run the ball around 500 times..a healthy brown will get a minimum of 250 carries over the season if that is indeed the case.
I was thinking the same thing when I drafted him over Maroney. Now that Maroney is on the waiver list(ten teams and we only keep 4 RBs) I am thinking of dropping Brown for Maroney. At least this week they start playing for real and we can see what Fisher really wants to do with the running game since he cant decide on the QB/
It depends on how many receptions he is going to get. If Collins is in which it looks like is about to happen and also Brown is the guy on 3rd downs then Brown could be just fine. The Titans will be playing from behind much of the year and Brown has to be involved in the passing game including those dump offs that Collins fed to Jordan last season.
Brown is a huge question mark at this point like the whole Titans offense, but is worth a spot for sure.
